If not I guess it comes down to if you plan on casting it or cycling it more. A 6cmc creature with Trample (the Enchantment Creature aspect is probably irrelevant) is both easier to hardcast and has good evasion, so Greater Tanuki definitely wins out on that side of things. The Cycling aspect of Krosan Tusker giving you both a land in hand and a card is better, but not by as much as it would innitially seem, since Greater Tanuki's ability puts the land you find directly onto the battlefield, thus serving as either threat or ramp.
So if you Ninjutsu it in and it deals damage to a player, then that turn it's just a draw rather than a loot, which would be the case for all future turns. The cheaper Ninjutsu and far more reasonable casting cost to body ratio is quite nice, but then again, how often were you actually casting Ninja of the Deep Hours? Additionally, after you get in once and draw your card with Ninja of the Deep Hours, you're likely not getting in again unless you can pick it up and Ninjutsu it again off of a flyer or unblockable creature, so... this kind of leads me to believe that this Moon-Circuit Hacker will be just as good if not better.
No interest in that Network Disruptor for your Tempo cube? I was kind of eyeing the card for Peasant to see if I preferred it over my other early-drop blue options. Works well with Blink, Ninjas, artifact and flyer synergies... Idk... seems worth considering - especially in more of a tempo environment.
To me, Network Disruptor is a little odd in that its a 1 drop that you dont want to play on turn 1. So it gets outclassed very easy (and you have better things to do with more mana later). I think id rather have something frost lynx at that point. But I would love to hear other's thoughts
Hmmm a really unexciting set. I think if you have enough etb-effects in blue, so that Ninja of the Deep Hours performs well there Moon-Circuit Hacker is certainly a nice addition. I did cut the Ninja a while ago, so I won't add the new version.
Greater Tanuki seems decent. I personally prefer the tusker thought, because it's a 2 for 1. I mean cyclers are for the most part playable.
I'm personally a little bit interested in Spirited Companion. I do run Elvish Visionary as a pseudo token producer for the swarm archetype. Whites 2 drops are a lot more stacked than green though.
Might be the first set in a while, which doesn't add a single card to my cube. I can't really complain about the huge amount of options for my artifact cube though.
Oh yeah I forgot we also got another copy of Shimmerdrift Vale in the form of Uncharted Haven. It's getting reallly hard to squeeze these lands into the cube.

full cycle karoos, thrivings and signets, plus the 3 fetches is more than enough for multicolor support
although tanuki makes a tusker impression at first, its just a landcycling 3 fatty unfortunately. certainly flexible, but no tusker
This isn't true. Greater Tanuki isn't just a "landcycling 3 fatty." It actually ramps you by putting the land directly onto the battlefield, unlike Krosan Tusker. Yes, Krosan Tusker draws you a card when you cycle it, but the land it gives you goes to the hand, not the battlefield - big difference.
Also, as mentioned earlier, a 6cmc 6/5 trample is an eminently better and more castable body than a vanila 6/5 for 7cmc. Not to knock Krosan Tusker, as it sort of does a different thing, but to say that it's hands-down better than Greater Tanuki is a misunderstanding of the card.
why did you cut the ninja tho? i say thats madness
Is Ninja of the Deep Hours really that good? It's a 2/2 for 2, which you can only cast if you have an unblocked creature. Blue doesn't actually have all that many great etb-effects, especially not on evasive creatures. It's not like your Man-o'-War or Sea Gate Oracle are very realistic to actually enable the ninja. On the other hand there are several evasive creatures, that don't actually want to be bounced and you trade the 1 free card for a tempo loss.
Apart from that the Ninja is only good when you can actually attack and aren't on a stalled board. You literally never want to hardcast it and it's not like the ninja realistically connects more than once in a game.
In summary it's not bad and your cube certainly has a lot more very active support for this card than mine, but I think for the average cube it's highly overrated and as much as I would like the UW Flicker archetype to be more of a thing, I simply don't think it is worth it, due to a lack of good etb-effects.
i agree you need some support for it. but there are quite a bunch to run. (see my blue onedrops) Faerie Seer is pretty "free" i guess
sure ninja is not super sick, but i still prefer card advantage on a body over a plain drawspell

This is interesting. Ninjutsu it in for 1, draw a card.
I agree with this thinking.

dont get why a random amount of creatures now suddenly are artifacts as well. just makes them more vulnerable.

There's a cares about artifacts [and enchantment] theme going in W/B. So it helps them.
