Im not convinced that the Sharpshooter is better than Crocanura, which can be evolved the turn it's played, multiple times in a single turn, and w/o attacking. Even if you play a creature card with more attack power, then you have to wait until next turn to attack with it. The Croc frog gets the counter and can attack with is right away.
Kessig Flamebreather seems very cube-able. It's another take on Firebrand Archer, and I'm honestly not sure if spell-heavy red decks (or Izzet decks) prefer a 2/1 or a 1/3. I know I'm considering it for Peasant, so it has to be worth a look in Pauper.

spells matters got cut from many pauper cubes. its more efficient to play bodies with effect.
Wow! That's kind of crazy. I don't have a Pauper cube, but it seems like there are a ton of great options for spells-matter in red (let alone blue or Izzet). I mean... besides this Kessig Flamebreather you have Firebrand Archer as mentioned, Thermo-Alchemist, Kiln Fiend, Burning Prophet, Ghitu Lavarunner, Ardent Elementalist, and all the great burn spells. I'm probably forgetting stuff too. That said, there are probably a ton of solid 3/1s or 3/2s for 2cmc that are fine on their own - just seems kind of boring.
A lot of playable cards that catched my eye, even though there doesn't seem to be any staple autoinclude: Apprentice Sharpshooter: Compareable to Crocanura, but a blocker that needs to attack is kind of weird. Not sure how good this actually is. I can imagine a lot of board states where you can never ship in. It feels similar to Outlast which always sounded good in theory, but in practice I never liked it, because often you didn't want to tap your creature mainphase.
Hookhand Mariner: One of the few Werewolf that is completely decent without flipping and the backside is definitely very strong, but we are getting a 4/4 for 4 with upside now every set. It's hard to find a spot at some point.
Kessig Flamebreather: I really like Thermo Alchemist and Firebrand Archer remains one of my pet cards, but This one is in a weird spot. I'm usually not a huge fan of 1/3s, but in combination with it's ability it doesn't seems super bad. I think I would need to see this in action.
Massive Might: This is actually not a horrible trick. Since you usually want to use combat tricks on the attack the trample part is quite relevant. The question is if it's worth -1/-1 compared to Giant Growth.
Persistent Specimen: This will definitely come in for me since I still support the sac archetype right now. It's just 1 cheaper than Sanitarium Skeleton for each activation.
Pyre Spawn: This seems kind of worth mentioning. For people who like having a creature at spot in the curve, even in red, this probably isn't the worst choice. It's certainly very annoying to deal with.
sharpshooter: it blocks reds 3/x and white 2/2 flyer from the get go which is most relevant to me. and after attacking it even blocks illusionary forces. sure id rather have a giant spider for 3. but this is close enough.
mariner is fine, if you have slots for 4/4/4s
flamebreather: as i said the main problem i have with the archetype that a higher creature count makes it worse. i still prefer archer, since its also able to attack.
might: i like might better than growth because trample deals more damage to the player effectively.
specimen: not sure one is enough, but its a start. i definitely can see it being played in Bx control shells as well.
spawn: yeah i still dont like high mv critter in red.
impulse: its a draw 2 for 2 in red most of the time.
thoughts: the only pure draw spells i run are:
Compulsive probably the worst, but its still a draw3 for 3, which is worth the sorcery over instant imo.
i rather gain card advantage elsewhere. like bouncing Thalakos Seer with stuff like
Sigarda’s Imprisonment: probably too expensive, but I like the option to rummage in the late game attached to a Pacifism effect.
Reckless Impulse: Basically a Light Up the Stage for Pauper. I like it a lot, especially since this brings some diversity in red's spells selection.
Scattered Thoughts: A common Fact or Fiction - more or less.

Weaver of Blossoms > Priest of Titania
Titania was cute, but I like any color and mv3 slot better. i also cut 2 elves.
Reckless Impulse > Reckless Charge
Reckless comes in, reckless goes out. Charge is like you never have it, when you want it.
Persistent Specimen > Gluttonous Slug
idk. Slug kinda underperformed, but its still a shaky spot. maybe if we get another good sacenabler.
Apprentice Sharpshooter > Thornweald Archer
a potential 2/5 reach is more promising than the mv2 Archer.

Behold the Multiverse still seems as flexible, if not better because of the stagger costing option; imo.

Reckless Impulse: Probably good, not amazing though.
Scattered Thoughts: I think Foresee has been out of the race for a while. I did actually already cut Compulsive Research. I think the problem is, that we have too many good draw spells nowadays. There is Behold the Multiverse, Rain of Revelation, Treasure Cruise and Winged Words (nearly 50% of my blue creatures are flying), which are all definitely better than Foresee and also better than Compulsive Research IMO. I'm really not sure of Scattered Thoughts is better or worse than Rain of Revelation. I think they are really close. On a sidenote, there is also Deep Analysis which I think is only worth it if you can discard or mill it.
Spore Crawler: This is just a strictly better Byway Courier.
