well its slightly higher than sometimes in the past, but i wonder how many cards will make the cut. each new set has a tougher time to make it into the cube(s)
I would never cosider the raven for example. at this point they need to give us upgrades to already playable cards or unique effects.
This is really strong in my opinion (beats out Rain of Revelation in my cube.) What I really like is giving control decks more options for turn 2, but then the instant allows for holding up a counter, and using this if they play nothing.
The Vandel im weary about. It takes some set up: having a creature in the yard and them having something to hit. So its not really a 2 drop in that regard (or its a 1/3 for 2cmc which I will pass on). I thinm id rather having a Nature's claim instead.
The dual lands have intrigued me since you pointed that out. Might be worth it over the gain 1 life lands...
i dont think the vandal works really well. having to exile the creature is a big downside in g, since it lacks 1mana cyclers. its nice that it exiles the target though, so it more of a mid to lategame card if you need the effect.
i dont see a reason to run the gainlands still. a 360 cube is well satisfied with 10 karoos + 5 thriving +3 fetches. the snowlands are certainly the 2nd best cycle though.
i dont think is need a 3/6 vigilance in my white. i certainly dont want to skip my 2nd turn for it. although is still like it somehow. but nowadays creatures need either protection or evasion to be really viable.
