Cratermaker seems like the kind of card I would have a hard time justifying excluding from any cube list. We are desperately thirsty for high-floor artifact removal outside of green.
The stalwart is perfectly serviceable. Being best next to a 1 power creature is annoying, though. Too bad it doesnt work with the soltari that buffs all of your guys (damn, it has been a while if I don't remember that card's name...)
Lotleth giant is probably quite bad. Lava axe or a little more is not the etb you want on a 7 drop. You should be playing seven drops and feeling safe.
Pinging a board with sweeping giant seems small potatoes at that stage of the game. If it had lifelink instead of vigilance I think it would turn heads.
It doesn’t matter, but I think the convoke-disenchant could have been an easy include if it was not green or rec-sage and Trashing Brontodon weren’t available. But they are and it isnt.
Golgari Findbroker and Conclave Cavalry are also going in, and depending on how restrictive the mana cost turns out to be I might look at Crackling Drake as well. But I strongly believe the green ones to be at least worth considering, since you usually have a Llanowar Elf or two.
Murmuring Mystic has not been talked about a lot since it was spoiled, but I think it could be a good payoff for the spells matter decks. The real awkwardness is coming down mid-game, where most of our best options other benefit from being cast early and seeing your other spells, or being cast late with spells in the grsveyard.
Goblin Banneret has a lot of mid- to late-game potential, which is interesting for a red one-drop.
League Guildmage feels like a pretty good payoff to the spells matter decks in Izzet. Probably not for shallower guild sections, but the two abilities ensure it should have some utility at all points of the game, whether you copy cheap spells early or draw for cards late.
Terrain Elemental with reach and Etb-+1/+0 per creature in your graveyard ueot and you may have it fight a flier.
That’s pushing the curve. Floor of being a Terrain Elemental, you might get a 2-for-1 (or at least 1 and a quarter of a lingering souls for 1) if there are 1/1 or 1/2 fliers around, and with a few creatures in your yard in the mid- to late game you have mostly a sorcery speed Plummet.
An interesting little spell that got spoiled is Gird for Battle. Two +1/+1 counters for one mana could be pretty powerful as part of an early multi-spell turn and could reasonably represent two hasty damage the turn you play it. I think I would prefer it for most aggro decks over Shoulder to Shoulder, for example.
Im currently Auto including: Kraul Harpooner Goblin Cratermaker: I love him. Will be cutting mogg war marshal for him Goblin Banneret- Replacing reckless Waif. I want to up my +1/+1 counters in red and this guy is perfect for it. House Guildmage or Thought Erasure: I can't decide on which is gfetting included yet but I love both. Lotleth Giant: I LOVE THIS GUY. He slots into the dredge deck along with the other grave based decks. Plaguecrafter: New fleshbag is always a good thing but now as a human it plays into the humans deck that has been drafted twice using heirloom blade and the silver dagger.
Considering: Sunhome Stalwart Molderhulk: I really like this for for the Spider spawning / worm harvest deck that currently is in golgari Conclave Cavalier - Strongly considering in my selesnya section however I just moved it to enchantress so i'm not sure if i want to make a cut for this.
Sinister Sabotage
Haazda Marshal
Conclave Tribunal
Yes, please: Sunhome Stalwart: I have my reasons for wanting to maximise playable First Strike creatures. It has potential for further value, too. Goblin Banneret: I really like how well it scales towards the later game and it meshes well with other cards in my cube. Goblin Cratermaker: Great floor for artifact hate and also versatile. Kraul Harpooner: So much better than Terrain Elemental that it is not even funny.
Maybe: Nightveil Sprite: The effect is still really helpful and the body evasive even if it does not do the most damage. Kraul Swarm: The body is still evasive so the low toughness is not as devastating and recursion is always interesting. Pilfering Imp: I like it. The body does stuff even if it is not optimal and the Thoughtseize can be really helpful later. Plaguecrafter: Just so much better than Fleshbag Marauder and co. Price of Fame: Even without the lowered cost, it is unconditional destruction which provides card selection. League Guildmage: Always has some utility and copying spells is a strong late-game effect. Fresh-Faced Recruit: First Strike and I really like playable hybrids. Piston-Fist Cyclops: Again, mostly because it is a hybrid. Whisper Agent: My favourite of the hybrids, and Dimir hybrids were unplayable. Discovery//Dispersal: As a hybrid, though. Invert//Invent: As a guild card since only Invent really matters.
Noteworthy but not for me: Conclave Tribunal: There are already more interesting versions of the effect and not having any extra uses beyond the potential for a cheaper O-Ring by tapping multiple creatures is not enough for me. Haazda Marshal: Battalion is too much to ask, especially when the creature is a 1/1 itself. Chemister's Insight: More interesting draw spells, including from the GY, already exist and blue non-creatures have a high threshold for inclusion. Dazzling Lights: If the floor was not so high, this would be interesting. Murmuring Mystic: Nice support for the archetype but a bit too costly for what it provides. Vedalken Mesmerist: Seems like it has potential but still probably not good enough. Undercity Necrolisk: Gaining temporary evasion is good on this kind of effect. Sorcery speed and mana cost are not. Smelt-Ward Minotaur: Interesting design but effect clashes with much of other cards in the archetype. Street Riot: Way overpriced, even if the effect is welcome. Affectionate Indrik: Still kills too small targets without dying itself. Arboretum Elemental: Illustrates why Convoke is overvalued. Grappling Sundew: Interesting wall but still just a wall on a crowded slot. Sprouting Renewal: Better example of convoke but still overpriced for the options. Boros Challenger: I still like the other options better. Conclave Cavalier: Selesnya is stacked; the cost is too strict. Golgari Findbroker: Mana cost is too strict and effect generic. House Guildmage: Effects are decent but Dimir has great options. Rampaging Monument: I have seen worse colourless creatures.
The set certainly has some interesting cards for other formats (including my 2HG micro-cube and Commander), but I think those are all the ones I'll be putting in my peasant cube. Still, I'm pretty happy with the sheer utility of Cratermaker. And Stalwart is just good.
Expect to be happy with: League Guildmage - Incentivizing tempo spell decks while being playable elsewhere is pretty rare. Kraul Harpooner - Yes. Conclave Tribunal - More interesting O-ring. Dazzling Lights - Surveil 2 is probably about equal to draw a card, so it's just a way better Jace's Scrutiny, which is a fine card. It's also a tempo spell that graveyard decks actually want.
Will test, but have no expectations of: Conclave Cavalier - Mana cost may end up being too hard. Integrity//Intervention - Boring boros card that I might like more than other boring boros cards. Plaguecrafter - I cut Fleshbag Marauder too long ago to remember how good these effects are. Sunhome Stalwart - Another semi-generic white 2 drop. May be underrating it.

League Guildmage - Incentivizes tempo UR decks while being a decent card in control.
Conclave Tribunal - Just a great card.
Conclave Centaur - 8/8 in stats for 4cmc is good enough that I can tolerate the mana cost and awkwardness on the death trigger.

3cmc naturalize is awful even with convoke
The upside is... you can get a 3cmc 2/2 token instead???
Cratermaker is super legit as is the 2/2 first strike mentor
Convoke O-Ring is certainly playable
Not much else, the guildmages in particular have been disappointing
Anyhow. Watcher in the Mist is close but not.
