With regards to Crumbling Vestige and Holdout Settlement, I like that they have some unique designs, but I'm not that interested in either; my land section is super tight (only 23 cards).
My main problem with Holdout Settlement is that there are very few situations where I want tap a creature and a land to fix mana. Things are just so creature-centric right now.
EDIT: I also think Crumbling Visage is definitely the better land of the two. It's similar to Tendo Ice Bridge, and early turn mana fixing could be really good, especially for aggro decks. Only tapping for colorless after that is a big downside, though.
I will probably run both as I want to increase the number of 5 color lands since I am planning on cutting the Khans lands. Of the two, I think overall Crumbling Vestige is better, as it fixes your mana in the early stages of the game when it is needed most.
i pushed multicolor a bit in my tier2, espescially with those wedgemorphs. as much as id love to have more 5color fixing, those designs are bad
Holdout Settlement seems horrible to me outside token decks. As someone said in the general topic, it doesnt help your maincolors, so any basic of the 3rd color would be better. and even for 4c+ decks.., just no
Crumbling Vestige seems a tiny small litte bit better, but its not. its worse. what do you want with it after the turn you played it. you dont want to keep it in your hand until you need your offcolor mana either. its sooo baaaaad
The Holdout Settlement I'm not sure about. I don't think Springleaf Drum sees any play, putting it on a colorless land instead of costing 1 doesn't seem much better. Like Unknown Shores, requiring further investment just to get colored mana out of your land seems bad.

Just to clear up a little confusion in my side. We are talking about seeing play in cube? Because the drum sees play in modern, and I thought it is (magic-)common knowledge. (again, no offense, I'm just really are confused right now.)
this is the cubeforum, so we talk about seeing cards played in cubes drum is played in constructed affinity, but nowhere else.
i wouldnt cube tendo ice bridge either, but it would be a bit more interesting, since you have to keep this new land on your hand until you need the colored mana. thats way worse.
Except pauper doesn't really have that much in the 1CMC aggro creature slot, and there aren't that many 2CMC aggro creatures with double mana costs either so 2 color aggro decks don't really have mana issues as is. It seems potentially better in peasant in comparison since there are a lot more turn 1 aggro plays, but I'm not nearly as familiar with that format.
I don't think this is turn 1 fixing. It puts you in an awkward spot on turn 2, doesn't it? Also nombos with some of my one-drops (Goblin Patrol, Pouncing Jaguar, Rogue Elephant) so it's not 100% consistent. This seems more like turn 2 or turn 3 fixing. Has a bit of value with self-bounce (mostly just karoos and Deprive at this point, sadly).
Shoulder to Shoulder2W
Sorcery
Support 2. (Put a +1/+1 counter on each of up to two target creatures.)
Draw a card.
I expect this to be about as good as Sandcrafter Mage i.e. not great, but might get some mileage with a +1/+1 counters theme.
Comparative Analysis3U
Instant
Surge 2U(You may cast this spell for its surge cost if you or a teammate has cast another spell this turn.)
Target player draws two cards.
Somewhere in between Divination and Inspiration. Seems inconsistent, but the ability to be either card if you position it correctly might make it interesting. Don't think its forebears actually see play in pauper though. Putting both effects on one card with no restrictions would be nicer
Scion Summoner2G
Creature - Eldrazi Drone
Devoid (This card has no color.)
When Scion Summoner enters the battlefield, put a 1/1 colorless Eldrazi Scion creature token onto the battlefield.
2/2
Most interesting of the three. Nessian Courser+ which works well in tokens or ramp, but dies to other 3/3s. Should replace Call the Scions thanks to the benefits a creature type over spell type gives it. I have an inordinate love of Unearth, so any three-drop that gives value is something I enjoy ogling
Shoulder to Shoulder is interesting if you compare it to Travel Preparations, which is one of the best selesnya cards.
Of course Travel is better, but Shoulder does not take a guild slot.
On a more general note, I (once again) hope there are good common creatures with '+1+1 counters care' abilities. Come on, wizards guys, give us 2 or 3 good things!!!
I wouldn't put Rush of Knowledge on that list. The last thing I want from my draw spells is to be dependent on what I have in play, especially when I'm digging for answers. Plus, it's slow and easily disrupted by removal. Enhanced Awareness on the other hand has been fantastic. Plays like Thoughtflare in RTR limited, allowing you to reload and sculpt your hand at instant speed. There's no other card like it at pauper, so I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more traction
by the time u cast rush, you should have either some boardstate or opponent is out of removal. So far it has been amazing to me and consistently draws 4-6 cards.

we already have evolving wilds and the alara fetches. not much playable design space left i guess. (for wotc standards)

I thought of travel preparations too, but that card is good because it impacts the board a lot, immediately, for 4 mana.

Think Twice synergizes with discard effects like looter
Awareness effectively draws 3 cards
anyways, I think 5 drawspells are more than enough at 360
