Rite's a hard to remove wincon for red control. It takes a while to get there but most board states are going to slowly fall apart in the face of it. Chumping a 5 power trampler doesn't do a whole lot so often you'll win~4-5 turns down the line. I think it's worth testing.
Saying Hour of Need is the 2nd best blue card (behind Control Magic?) is pretty outrageous but it makes about as much sense as putting Preordain in the highest tier. I like cantrips as much as the next guy but seriously?
Panda, I think most of us have played with the card and a good number of us thought it wasn't even good enough to be in the list. It's not like this is some obscure card nobody tried.
5/1 trample that can't block, only dies to enchantment removal and has other upsides with sacrifice outlets and triggers for when creatures ETB or die? The more I think about it the more I like it. Certainly getting a test drive.
I don't like the part where you pay 5 to do nothing for a turn. The Centaur Glade comparison _i0 made upthread sounds about right so if Glade still works for you then it could be worth a look (I cut it ages ago and haven't looked back, so Rite is probably a pass for me unless others report back favorably).
Both are 5 mana to do nothing a turn but at least the Rite offers free value after that.
Full decklists are up, and Prophetic Bolt is in the UR deck. Noteworthy because it's only ever been uncommon in Vintage Masters, which... might mean we're getting a paper uncommon version? That would be interesting to see.

My 360 Peasant+ Cube!. Modern borders where possible, usually with the newest (or "best") art, and always the most readable card text. I also run all 10 painlands. My playgroup is super casual, as we have a fair number of newer or less experienced players. Typically we draft with 4 to 6 people, using 5 packs of 9.

The card image gallery is up, so you can check rarity. Also, Ambition's Cost and Dominate are getting their first printing in a modern frame. Do you think those cards are good enough to cube?
I first thought Oreskos Explorer put the Plains to play like Knight of the White Orchid. Nope. It searches for one to your hand, and that would seem to make it a terrible card in 1-on-1 games. You have a chance to search for a specific land card in a colour you already have and put it to your hand? Yeah, no. Thief of Blood is just terrible for our purposes since there are no planeswalkers and it is more of a hate card than anything.
I don't think a 2/2 that occasionally gets a land (and I do play shocklands so this can get duals) is that good. On the play it's literally a just bear.
I will also play the Cat in addition to those. Funny how it has basically been forgotten. The new Serra Angel would also be worth considering if white did not already have enough 5 drops to my taste.

I still am on the fence about that red card. It's just clunky I feel.
"Ok, every turn you get this token that has haste and trample, but you can't attack me with it. It'll also go away when it's my turn."
Just is kinda durdly.

Ambition's Cost was in 8th Edition. It was in my cube for a while, but I think it's worse than both Night's Whisper and Read the Bones.

This. Although I do not actually know what 'BCS' means.
