Well some of us disagree about IP laws and stuff. I don't think it really matters. IP law isn't something that important to me and what technically is or is not stealing isn't really up to me/you/us to decide anyway. The most upsetting thing about all this is the chatroom name, #mpq, was a typo and is pretty tilting. I meant to type #mpc (modo peasant cube) but was just busy trying to get things setup and hit q by mistake and by the time I realized it was too late to change it. But I mean, there are deck names that only exist because of typos so...yay I guess.

But we all agree cube is awesome, which does matter, because cube is awesome.

So between some people forgetting they had other stuff to do, having personal emergencies, or just being late we ended up only having 4 people. Still drafted and played the full 3 rounds. It worked pretty well but I did learn some things for how to do it better next time so things will only get better from here.

I'm gonna try to run at least 1 of these a week so if you're interested please let me know. I made a facebook group to help with organizing these in the future so if you want in on that send me a message on here and I'll add you to it.

The first draft started at 8pm eastern time on a Friday, don't know if that time would have worked for you. I'm sure drafts will happen at different times/days in the future though so lemme know about what time is good for you.

Better than expected. Had some hiccups and only ended up with 4 people but we did the draft and played 3 rounds.

I learned some ways to manage all the drafting/trading stuff better for next time. Made a facebook group to help organize them too, if anybody is interested send me a message on here and I'll add you.

Planning on doing another one this Friday night and/or Sunday anytime. With Saturday being Halloween and all I assume people are busy, I know I will be.

I'd like to believe I've really gotten my ***** together on organizing these. The plan in the future is to do most of the scheduling and inviting via a facebook group so if you're interested shoot me a message on here and I'll friend you and add you to the group.

no, they sued the programmer and he left the project alone. ***gerworks somehow manages to continue the project because they might have servers on the philippines or sth. like that.

Went pretty well. Had 8 people sign/show up. 2 of them ended up dropping for different reasons after round 1. Played rounds 2-3 with the remaining 6.

There isn't an easy way to do it. Basically we draft on a website and play the actual games out on magic online.

I said that because I think this is a great way to draft amongst us Peasant Cubers and is definitely something we should explore. The dream would obviously be to get 8 of us top Peasant guys to get into one of these. That would be quite a set of results.

Oh I agree it would be sweet to do a draft with 8 people who know what is up.

You're the guy that is central EU time right? I'm shooting for 2pm Sunday for the next one so that timing might work out better for you.

Draft #3 went well. 6 people signed/showed up. Unlike drafts #1-2 Orzhov Tokens/Midrange didn't win, although it was drafted. The winner was a sweet 4 color midrange deck, basically Jund splashing blue cards.

I'll do a writeup on the draft from my perspective sometime this week on my blog, probably Tuesday/Wednesday. And at some point I'll buy a decent microphone and record the draft/games because right now my audio is not great.
