I think I like Heelcutter. Just that creature without the Dash ability is something I would consider playing, and the Dash is a pretty relevant upside. Of course, I have a larger cube, so those caveats apply.
Also, I think there might be something there with Rageform. The way it's designed, there's no chance of getting 2-for-1'd and there's mild upside of being able to turn up something useful for the aura, whether that's a creature with more than 2 power, or a 2 power evasion guy, or a creature with a combat damage ability. I'm pretty sure a 2/2 double striker for 2RR doesn't make it, but maybe.
Yeah sorry, I let a little bit of my standard constructed thought process slip onto the cube forum (Denizen is a staple in Boss Sligh at the moment).
I would still like a 1 drop dash for my cube though, and I would love to see bolster on a cubable instant/ sorcery (maybe a counterspell).
Not really sure about cubing any of the spoilers yet, the Hooded Assassin looks cool but the kill effect is too specific. Gurmag Angler could be OK i guess...
I must say... I love basically all the mechanics in this set, from the returning Delve to Dash and Manifest, and to choices. They all allow interesting options and are mechanically elegant enough.
Goblin Heelcutter and Rageform interest me the most for the time being. However, I might consider Ethereal Ambush ambush as well because Simic has always been a problem for me. Still waiting, however, but this is a promising start, to say the least.

Oh man. Simic is one of my strongest guilds! Now Golgari...there's a train wreck.

Simic may not have cards that are as strong as gruul, but it makes up for it with nearly limitless selection. Aside from the cards i0 listed you have nimbus swimmer or aether mutation or maybe even plaxmanta. I dont care for shambleshark all that much but it isn't bad bad. I don't know, does anyone still run elusive krasis?

I think what I like about manifest is the interaction it can have with flickering/blinking. Whatever it is will come back face up. It seems perfect for a Bant archetype supported by stuff like Ponder and friends. I'm definitely gonna keep my eye on it.

To this day, rxphantom, urban evolution reads "5mana concentrate, narrow upside" to me. I think it's a huge mistake to play that card in a deep section such as Simic, unless you really, really like powering out 7 drops.
Playing an extra land this turn that late in the game is usually a very short lived bonus: it only helps until but not including the turn you miss your next land drop, which could very easily be next turn for no bonus at all overall or the turn after for only one turn of upside.
Plus the ~1/5th of the time where you don't draw lands at all. Minor downside but not irrelevant. Or the times where you draw one land, which is the most common outcome, and you have not already used your land drop. Or the times you cast it and don't tap out/threaten viable counterplays during the bonus land phase of the game.
I could imagine something. It's hard .. but plausible. like a 1/1 flier for 3 that manifests the top card of your library. That'd be similar in strength to attended knight? (a decently well included low level guy) and definitely printable. Also, a trostani's summoner type deal of a guy for like 7 that manifests 3 could make it.
1WW
Enchantment
When ~ enters the battlefield, it becomes an Aura with enchant creature. Manifest the top card of your library and attach ~ to it. (To manifest a card, put it onto the battlefield face down as a 2/2 creature. You may turn it face up at any time for its mana cost if it's a creature card.)
Can't decide whether I like the idea of manifest in cube yet, I will see how it plays out at the FRF pre-release.
It seems designed to add interesting interactions to a limited environment, and could be quite fun.
On the other hand the idea of manifesting Path to Exile or Reanimate by accident is horrifying. I could run a Lens of Clarity, but that would mean I would have to cut a decent artifact for a fairly trash card (but not a bad target for Ensoul Artifact).
Looks like they're currently translating the white Manifest aura as Lightform. I'm kind of intrigued by that one. You'll be roughly equally likely to hit lands and creatures, and somewhat less likely to hit a non creature spell. Hitting a creature would be awesome, hitting a land would have varying value depending on how badly you need land #4, and hitting a non creature spell would be a little rough, but I think I'd be willing to chance that downside for the upside of hitting a creature you could later flip up and make into a huge threat.
The more I am mulling this over, the more I think I like this. In a Wx aggro deck, there is a very real chance of hitting a 1-3 drop creature that you can morph into something nasty on the vey next turn.
If you miss, a 2/2 flier for three is fine and fits in your battleplan anyway.
Furthermore, your opponent doesn't know what you hit, so that may allow you to bluff, or induce them to overestimate the need to use removal on it, etc.
A strike against this that I could see is that it becomes a very high variance card, just creating an unbeatable monster when you are lucky enough to hit Guardian of the Guildpact or some such. But I can't believe that should be a real issue here.
Also, worrying about what non-creature you might "loose" to this is pointless. Do you worry about what is the bottom card of your library? Do you weep about not drawing whatever awesomeness was on top when you cracked your Evolving Wilds?

I ran the Krasis until the pleasant surprise that was Horizon Chimera. Also, Temporal Spring and Urban Evolution are solid Simic picks.

When Thing-Tower ETB, manifest the top 2 cards of your library.
Manifest creatures you control have +1/+1.

Lifelinking Wind Drake with possible upside..
Edit:
Could the remaining colours here be interesting perhaps? A blue flying Ophidian? A green +2/+2 and trample? A black deathtouch?
Come on, make the green one a Rancor
Edit edit: there are apparently only three of theese:

As for hitting spells it doesn't really matter negatively. This is like worrying about what cards you're dredging, basically.
