You have Young Pyromancer. Opponent attacks with x/4 creature. Lightning Bolt turned into a removal spell (in red) that otherwise be a huge problem for the red deck.
So I'm pretty sure I'd be 100% on Hunt the Weak at 2G but it costs 3G, what are other peoples' thoughts on it? I'm willing to give any green removal spell a real look over but the more I think about it the more I think this isn't good enough at 4cmc.

not a chance. 3G and a sorcery is weak....i'd consider it at 2G and instant. green's duders are usually larger or have regeneration anyways. i'd rather have pit fight or prey upon....if you're hard up for green "removal" i'd consider both snakeform and utopia vow before hunt

Yeah I know it isn't good enough, I just want like 1 more good green removal spell. Sadface.

I don't like provoke so much because it limits the guys you are allowed to attack with. Making them block with their utility creature or aggro dudes (Gelectrode, Llanowar Elves, Mistral Charger) could be sweet though, and I do love my conditionally sweet spells.
Trained Condor 2U
Creature - Bird
Flying
Whenever Trained Condor attacks, another target creature you control gains flying until end of turn.

Anyone? I quite like it. Lets you shift from defending with your Man-O'-Wars and stuff to attacking with your Man-O'-Wars and stuff more easily. It might be a problem that most of blue's creatures are already either a)flying or b)walls. But I've been kinda waiting for that for a while. It's everything Wingcrafter's ever wanted to be. Except defensive.
Specialities about the cube: U tempo, B aggro, R slow-ish are supported. G aggro is not.
Currently trying to support tokens in all colors but blue, in different ways: W pumps them, B sacrifices them, R suicides them, G has decent-sized ones.
cube list outdated
*literal C/U definition according to gatherer
**some cards are banned. Library of Alexandria, Land Tax, Sol Ring.
Blue is more of a controlly color in my cube, instead of tempo, so this guy seems a bit lackluster in the playability category. However, for those pushing tempo in their blue sections, this guy might not be the worst. I definitely like the effect, it's cool. Swinging with bounce creatures is exactly what I was thinking... like Aether Adept and co. I'd test it maybe for the more tempo-y blue sections.
Definitely prefer wingcrafter.
Doesn't put himself into danger
Combo with ninja if the deep hours
I don't feel strongly about either card, but I would want to point out that there's less chance of being blown out by a removal spell after declaring attackers with this card than with Wingcrafter. If an opponent darkblasts (or finds any way to remove) your wingcrafter, your other soulbonded guy is about to become very non-evasive. Un-vasive? Antivasive? ...The point is, it will be easy to block.
Having never played with either card, I don't know how often either worst case scenario will arise.
Every card is bad against certain other cards. It's like the "dies to removal" argument.
You shouldn't value a card based on what it does when your opponent can deal with it. Especially not a creature, since everyone has ways to deal with creatures. Or should, at least. Imo.
I don't like looking at cards in a vacuum, nor do I like looking at cards in made-up scenarios. See how it plays in a real game, then make a decision.
EDIT::
That being said, I like wingcrafter since it gives you a choice to attack or leave it back as sort of a utility permanent.
I definitely like the Condor over Wingcrafter. Wingcrafter plays more like an Aura (for about a +1/+1 and flying) while Trained Condor is a 2 power evasive attacker by itself, and can greatly boost your damage output while attacking. It also never leads to a blowout scenario when faced by any instant removal spell. However, it's more of a question of whether or not your cube wants this type of effect in blue.
Wingcrafter does not play out like an aura. An aura would die when the creature dies.
Wingcrafter's bonus also takes effect immediately. And on defense. And he costs 2 less mana. And he's one of like 2 viable blue 1 drops that attack.
These hypothetical blowout scenarios concerning soulbond creatures not named stonewright are so few and far between I don't know why they come up so often in conversation. I really just don't see them often enough for me to care.
It's an aura in the sense that it doesn't really do anything by itself. Ok, forgive me, it's more like an equipment.
Instant speed removal spells are frequent in my cube and make survival through combat not guaranteed. While you might not get the issues enough to care, I do.
Idk
I didn't think that people ran any of these cards at all. Besides maybe agony warp.
