There were way too few creatures that I wanted to be able to protect. Moreover, since this deck has few targets for single target removal the odds of your opponent having an removal spell ready for Mother (or just having two later on) is way more likely.
If 1/1s aren't good in the matchup you have a really hard time contesting the board. Remand and Dismember really help in entering t3-4 with a half-decent board presence to make use of Anthems/Monarch/Saheeli/Equips.
I'd take Astrolabe over a basic since your mana isn't great. A 7/7 mana base with 15 lands is bad enough I think you could justify cutting something else for another basic, but this deck mulligans well enough I don't think it's necessary.
I also redrafted it blind. I didn't have the guts to really commit to the token anthems but seeing arbors build I rate it. Mum definitely doesn't belong in this list.
I decided that the two monarch spells are strong enough to build around, and recognized that excluding Prava of the Steel Legion would mean the deck suddenly has zero targets that allow my opponent to get tempo/value from their removal spells.
There is such a thing as having too much removal, but having them sit in your hand is less of a problem if you're the monarch. So I filled up on it.
I was a little concerned that the total number of cards that put creatures on the board was a bit light, so I was worried about having three cards in here that absolutely require multiple bodies to be good (Hammer, clamp, and intangible virtue). I could imagine dropping one of them for the astrolabe.
I also don't understand how you guys are building this deck with 16 mana producing lands, one of which being colorless, while having several double colored cards in at the 4 slot and monarch pushing the late game.
The fact that you really don't have much to defend saheeli with before turn 3, and because she's double blue, caused me to see her as just a product of wishful thinking. You can't go "preordain, shrine of loyal legions, saheeli" and expect to get anywhere, nor can you expect to play her on turn 4 alongside either blue cantrip spell. Sure, you can play her and path to exile, but that's assuming you really want to hit their 3 drop.

Redrafting it from scratch, I went:
Library of alexbannedria Cloudgoat ranger (over PtE, which I understand might be technically wrong) Grafted Wargear (over Maze of Ith, a card that I know is overpowered but have little experience with.) Dismember Rakdos Cackler (over Gush, Especially since I have the equipment)
and then spiraled away from you with spectral procession and Kitchen finks.
I am pretty sure that me having made a minor edit or two to the list since then is messing up the available picks to an extent. When redrafting, by P1P4 I am seeing a pack with zero of the actual picks that I originally made, even if the first few packs seem to fall in line. I am also pretty sure that Venerable Knight was something like a thirteenth or fourteenth pick.
Definitely hard. I ended up going with this but admittedly, I might be underestimating the strength of some of the staples and such. The curve is also almost definitely borked and now that I think about it, it's not aggressive enough for 16 lands (especially with those amounts of colour). My brain short-circuited because of the idea that this is an aggressive deck in the back of my mind. https://cubecobra.com/cube/deck/6085a7733d2514106efffc9d
Y'know, we have so little activity on this board nowadays we could make it a regular thing to get a pool and debate something about it. Something that isn't as daunting as "make this whole deck", but "make the last cut"
or two.

Any word on how Kangee is working out for you? Cool looking card that somewhat enables Fliers as a playstyle, but is fine in other stuff unlike Empyrean Eagle and the like.

It’s been good. In my cube I don’t see myself going back to Empyrean Eagle. I often find that flying tokens is enough to cause serious problems for the opponent (which usually means me), and doesn’t depend that much on buffs. The fact that Kangee hits for 5 in the air by itself, makes it a fast clock that has ended several board stalls. I would probably play it in any WU deck, with the exception of the most dedicated blink decks.
I was doing a visual overview of Commander 2021 cards and noticed that Greed is printed at uncommon for the first time ever. So, I ask "Is Greed good?" It's relatively slow and very hard to use well against some aggro decks, but this is the first (?) of these repeatable black card draw engines we have at Peasant and it might be worth trying out. I really have no idea on this one.

Good catch. I didn't realize there were any downshifts.
Personally, I'm not a fan of Greed. Here's how much it costs:
1 card = 3BB + 2 life | And this only replaces itself, which any cycling card could have done for far cheaper.
3 cards = 3BBBB + 6 life | Compare to Ambition's Cost/Ancient Craving, which save BBB + 3 life. Noticeably, these cost the same mana as just getting Greed on the table, but they yield actual card advantage without paying more mana and at half the life.
4 cards = 3BBBBB + 8 life | Compare to Necrologia, which has a timing restriction, but saves BBB + 4 life. And sure, you can't do it over multiple turns, but if you have nothing better do do over multiple turns than pay 8 mana and 8 life to draw four cards, you've probably already lost.
Then there are other draw spells to consider, like Village Rites (hey, creatures are going to die anyway) or Phyrexian Rager. I just don't think Greed is fast enough or cheap enough to really offer us much.
Greed is not likely to be very good. Four mana is a lot and the price is hefty. If I wanted to make it work, I'd treat it as a buildaround. Mahybe I'll throw it into my old frame peasant cube for some fun. It's pretty iconic after all.
Curious if anyone has ever experimented with a goblin tribal idea in peasant cube and how that went? Lots of powerful cards in the pool (Lackey/Recruiter/Warleader/Matron/etc), but seems vulnerable to needing all the pieces to come together to be any good.

I have in the past, briefly. I remember liking Mad Auntie a decent amount, as well as Goblin Sledder. Both work well both with incidental goblins you're running anyway as well as with goblin token makers. I love running narrow payoffs/buildarounds like this, in the end I found the payoff to be not good enough in this case to warrant inclusion. I haven't looked at it recently, but I don't think there's a lot more incentive currently.
Hey guys, I was wondering what you think about an Investigate subtheme in Simic. I feel like my simic section is really generic, and it could be fun to spice it up since blue and green are some of the stronger colors in my cube anyways. MH2 added some interesting cards like hard evidence and Wavesifter and there can be some ancillary support in white with cards like Thraben Inspector. I think it could be cool with a larger overall token theme in my cube with cards like Glimmer Bairn .
Also, the handful of cool Clue payoff cards Briarbridge Patrol and Ulvenwald Mysteries (and some cute ones like Graf Mole and Daring Sleuth , and Erdwal Illuminator ) seem really neat. It can even enable Tinker !
It is good support for tokens/artifacts if you wanted to go deep there. Afaik there isn't enough support for a full blown artifact theme (especially in green), but Animating Faerie, Ensoul Artifact, Skilled Animator, and Tinker are all good cards that don't necessarily require a ton of artifacts to function. Tokens is similarly without a ton of support in UG, but Junk Winder, Combine Chrysalis, and Woodland Champion are all powerful cards if you can trigger them 2-3 times.
Went 3-0 today in modern horizons prerelease with an investigate deck, I think this has legs in cube and clue tokens are super underrated in terms of gameplay impact. They are really fun to play and feel very fair.
Really looking forward to trying this out once my MH2 cards arrive!
Unfortunately there are no truly great Dimir cards for reanimator. Psychatog is a decent one as it's a discard outlet and works well in combination with other loot effects that fill the yard. I also run Tomebound Lich. But there are no cards in Dimir that scream 'I'm a no-brainer for a reanimator deck', which is a bit of a shame.
Any suggestion on the two best gold cards for Selesnya signpost for +1/+1 Counters.
Also need suggestions on the best gold cards for Dimir signpost for graveyard/recursion/reanimator.
Thanks
For Selesnya, I would suggest Good-Fortune Unicorn, Arcus Acolyte and/or Conclave Mentor depending on what you want. Unicorn is the strongest cube card of those since it fits in more decks, but because of that it might get picked up by a player who isn't playing +1/+1 counters (this can be a good or a bad thing depending on your design philosophy). I think Conclave Mentor is the strongest in terms of synergy (although I might be wrong, haven't tested Acolyte) but it does nothing on it's own.
For Dimir, Tomebound Lich and Araumi of the Dead Tide - I know it's not exactly reanimation, but it is a form of recursion, even if it technically makes the card unavailable later.
My signpost Dimir graveyard/reanimation spell is Ancient Excavation. In the right scenarios, you are seeing 4+ cards to get new payoffs for the graveyard while also putting 5+ cards in the graveyard. It can be bad sometimes if your hand is small, but it has cycling as a backup and may not be super appealing outside of the graveyard decks.
My C/Ube on Cube Cobra
Bonder's Ornament -> Dismember
Bound in Gold -> Remand
Icy Manipulator -> Midnight Haunting

Oh and btw I ended up in ****ing rakdos? I really wanted Dwarven Hammer in but didn't know what to cut.
Note: Did you take Venerable Knight over Spectral Procession, one pick after taking Prava?

Except, maybe:
In my tribal peasant cube I have the package of Grumgully, the Generous, Murderous Redcap/Putrid Goblin/Scuzzback Marauders and a sac outlet (like the aforementioned Sledder). You can find all the pieces with Matron and Recruiter.
