How do you ever break the symmetry on bottomless pit while piloting control? That doesnt make sense to me offhand.
Depends on the deck but i know my group has used land tax and rhystic study in non monoblack versions. in the Monoback version I know we have normally just wanted to use it to put fatties into the bin to reanimate and then keep their hand size down to help reduce options.
The full discussion of the rules of the commander part of the draft is found in the cube description.
Themes are split into guilds with some being a bit tighter than others:
Azorious: Artifact matter
Dimir: combat damage matters
Rakdos: Goblins
Gruul: Lands matter
Selesnya: Beats
Orzhov: Tokens
Golgari: Reanimator
Simic: Tempo
Izzet: Spellslinger
Boros: Equipment
If people are interested in drafting it to improve my pick rankings (so it isn't solely based on my opinions) that would be appreciated as well.
Are you sure you want Braids and Baral as commanders? Those are not cards that lead to good games in my experience, Braids in particular. Overall I think you might want to balance the power of the commander section, there are huge discrepancies there. Planeswalkers are probably pretty broken in a peasant pool.
Topplegeist, Adanto Vanguard and Accorder Paladin can easily replace Lantern Kami and Blade of the sixth pride and Oreskos Swiftclaw. There are lots of cards like that, I'd say start by checking the evaluate everything thread and the recent set releases.

Braids may be a concession to my particular group. I aill certainly heed the warning though and pay attention to if it ruins games or not. If it is a consistent problem I will find a replacement. On planeswalkers - I have always considered them exceptionally weak in commander formats. They don't die to doomblade, true, but they do die to grizzly bear pretty often. Again though, I will take note and stay wary.
As for Baral - who is a good replacement to support spellslinger and tempo (I accept that I won't have one that works for all 4).

This is really useful. I didn't like any of those but didn't know how to replace them. Thank you, I will check out the thread.
I was looking them over and am thinking on Thada Adel, Acquisitor which literally hit the other two archetypes and since ramp is the usual thing to steal it will help the others indirectly. Thoughts?
Also, how often will this really be good? How many artifacts will there be to steal, and how worth it will it be to make that the central focus of your deck?
Also, if you play with min/maxers, it may be a concern that they will want to take time examining the opponent's library, trying to analyze their deck and memorize stuff etc.
Since there is no Ravnica Allegiance thread yet, what do you guys think about the Rakdos Firewheeler and Growth Spiral? Both look pretty interesting, but the Firewheeler looks much weaker than the other XXYY cards.
Rakdos Firewheeler still has quite a bit of potential, but its guild tends to already have good options. Growth Spiral is worthless - it might be a fine card but there is no point in dedicating a guild spot to a glorified Explore. On the other hand, depending on how 'Spectacle' works (and assuming that it is non-rare), Light Up the Stage could prove interesting. In particular, since it specifies the end of your next turn, it already provides a much better baseline for CA in red than prior exile draws available to us.
MTGGoldfish has Light Up the Stage as an uncommon. That's R for two castable cards in exile (if your opponent lost life this turn) AND you get to cast them next turn as well. It's a tremendous card.
Peasant Cube on a Budget - Red
Hmmm... that feeling when 17 of the top 20 non-creature spells are one-shot burn spells.
Wish I'd been able to find space for more effects that played with instants and sorceries, really, but I guess there aren't too many in Red (other than Guttersnipe and Monastery Swiftspear)?
I'd slam Thermo-Alchemist in there too, like, at instant-speed. And then there's Weaver of Lightning if you think your environment is good for it?
Edit: Didn't check on the phone, but surely you're not running reanimator as a strategy since it's on a budget? I suggest Magmatic Insight (precise name?) over Tormenting Voice. And as soon as RAN hits, add Light Up the Stage. Cut any burn spells for the changes. Burn gets just *too* redundant easily.
Thanks, gents! I knew I hadn't seen an obvious one, and Thermo-Alchemist is it... weird that it's apparently not getting run a heap. Weaver of Lightning probably would've been close to the bubble for the list too, TBH.
And yeah, Light Up the Stage would be pretty much an auto-include. And some reanimator, but not a lot - pretty hard to do that on a budget. Most of it is pretty slow - it's probably more like creature recursion than true reanimator.
Definitely Rampager. Brawler may be cheaper to cast, but it only has one mode with a limited-use temporary pump. Rampager has two modes - it can be a 4/4 trampler, or it can be a combat trick to help another creature survive and get damage through.

New to cube and would love some analysis. This a brawl cube (intended for 60 card singleton decks with a legendary or planeswalker commander). I usually draft 4 fifteen card packs. The sideboard contains the current commander options which are not (un)common. I want to switch U to Baral, Chief of Compliance, Dimir to Silas Renn, Seeker Adept and Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow, in Simic Momir Vig, Simic Visionary to Rashmi, Eternities Crafter, and in America Numot, the Devestator to Shu Yen, the Silent Tempest. Changes necessary after adding themes to azorius, dimir, gruul, golgari, and boros in a major edit. I am considering replacing daxos of meletis or Dovin Baan with The Grand Calcutron but am wary of slipping too much silver into the cube.

I only considered playing it because my card pool is limited and I reallly love spells matter cards.
Its not bad, but it's not a lot of extra payoff in the way that weaver of lightning or young pyro are.
Weaver of lightning can be singlehandedly very scary and shut down a lot of aggro.

These aren't set in stone. Just brainstorming what to swap. I wont even include all if these, I am sure
+Kraul Harpoonist xBriarhorn?
+Goblin Cratermaker
+Meteor Golem xSignal Pest
+Conclave Tribunal
+Plaguecrafter xMerciless Executioner
+Lotleth Giant ×Phyrexian Gargantua
+Sinister Sabotage
+Sunhome Stalwart
+Murmuring Mystic
I also plan on getting these from the newest set:
+Pteramander xTandem Lookout
+Frilled Mystic xBounding Krasis
+Light up the Stage xTormenting Voice
+Rhythm of the Wild either for Voltaic Brawler or Ghor-Clan Rampager
+Sphinx of the Guildpact
Which swaps look good? Which cards shouldn't make the cut in the first place?

Looking at your list, I think I'd go with these cuts.
Sunhome Stalwart -> Whitemane Lion (though, I would highly recommend Adanto Vanguard here instead)
Conclave Tribunal -> Stasis Snare
Pteramander -> Phantasmal Bear
Murmuring Mystic -> Frost Lynx
Plaguecrafter -> Fleshbag Marauder
Goblin Cratermaker -> Immolating Souleater
Light Up the Stage -> Titan's Strength
Kraul Harpooner -> Deadly Recluse
Rhythm of the Wild -> Voltaic Brawler
Frilled Mystic -> Bounding Krasis
Sphinx of the Guildpact -> Pierce Strider
And I don't think these make the cut at 360.
Sinister Sabotage
Lotleth Giant
Meteor Golem

All these make sense! I figured Fleshbag's typing would keep it in over Executioner.
Thanks for the input! I love putting in tons of new Shiny cards.
