Nightwing Shade is terrible, and definitely doesn't belong in a cube. 5 mana for a 2/2 that costs 2 to pump?
I'm sure what to think about the Basilisk... it seems ok, but not sure if it deserves a place. What kind of deck would run it? Control? Aggro? My other green 5-drops are a lot beefier, Crabapple Cohort, Territorial Baloth, but deathtouch is nice.
I'm really happy with Garruk's Companion, and I reckon Sacred Wolf is good too; they're just what Green aggro needs.
Thought I may as well post this cube-related tangent of mine.
God damn it, we need more pauper lands for the cube.
Edit: Huh. Looking at everyone's pauper cubes (and on this, should we make a directory, for new pauper cubers to refer to?), almost no one plays the Zendikar/Worldwake effects lands. Is there a particular reason? Because I think they're solid, and much better than the cycling lands, which everyone has.
I never paid any heed to restricting it to five when I was choosing from the zen/wwk lands. All of the lands that don't follow a cycle are in their own, misc. section in the lands section. Kinda lucky that I still rounded to a multiple of five.
I don't think Bojuka is worth it, at all. I did your five, but taking out the Bog for the Steppe. I think that the Steppe is awesome; it has so many theoretical uses! But I wasn't following the 1-per-color thing. /shrugs
I really want to bulk up my lands section. My cube is currently 480 cards large and has 35 lands. I'm building it up to 500; those last 20 cards I want to fill up with lands and, if necessary, Artifacts.
