im not a friend of shaman, therefore not of beast either. creatures need an etb effect to be competitive imo, especially at the top end. cmc6 seems already kinda unplayable anyway. i only run Citanul Woodreaders in that range.

i added it, but havent played my cube(s) since covid lockdowns, because my playgroup turned out paranoid about it and i broke contact with them. my lgs also turned completely mental with glasses between the tables, so it died for me. i also didnt try to fire any xmage games, because it takes hours on end to fill a draft. paupercube is an incredible unwanted format. not even this forum is willing to fire up a game..
i still curate just for fun, but have no real idea what works and what doesnt.

i feel guidance lacks a keyword most other cmc1 auras have in addition to the +1+1 and the spot is already taken by Sentinel's Eyes
Greatsword seems just awesome and can get out of hand quite fast. It finally replaced Empyrial Armor in my cube, as it kinda fills the same spot. (growing creatures)
robbers is nice if you support token strategies obviously. I found a bunch of 1/1s do not have enough impact in my regular cube
