A WotC set with no chaff?!?!?! Probably too hopeful, 'cause the norm is like 20% junk.
They've promised a really entertaining draft format, so hopefully it'll mostly be devoid of chaff. At like $8 MSRP per pack, there better be some serious quality. I can't imagine them expecting to draft Dredge and Faeries in a format full of junk, so I'm pretty hopeful.

I guess Trike is definitely too much to ask. So are the others, I guess, but not as blatantly as Trike. Good finds btw, I'd love to peasant cube with them.
Specialities about the cube: U tempo, B aggro, R slow-ish are supported. G aggro is not.
Currently trying to support tokens in all colors but blue, in different ways: W pumps them, B sacrifices them, R suicides them, G has decent-sized ones.

Usually I just lurk, but I love thought experiments like this, and I've considered what would be: cool, possible, and good in my cube.
I agree with the previously mentioned Savannah Lions, Char, Vinelasher Kudzu, Call of the Herd, Serra Sphinx, and Viridian Zealot as reasonable possibilities.
I really doubt a 10-card land cycle will exist at uncommon, especially the filter lands. The filter lands are the only really good rare land cycle to reprint.
That being said, maybe they pull a Master's Edition 2/3 move and print only the allied or enemy lands. Because it's not impossible they do this again in a year or two down the line.
Some cool cards that haven't yet been mentioned in the thread:
Troll Ascetic- Nothing on the cards screams "super impressive" anymore. Hexproof is a normal keyword, the regeneration is kind of expensive, and a 3/2 for 1GG isn't above the curve.
Tendo Ice Bridge- May actually be underpowered compared to the Vivids and Gemstone Mine, but would probably get a slot in my 512 card cube.
Dimir Cutpurse- Has been really powerful before, but the actual card design doesn't seem out of place at uncommon, especially in a more powerful draft format.
Loaming Shaman- I don't actually think the effect is too powerful in most Peasant cubes, but it would be nice to have. And neither a decent graveyard hoser or the 3/2 for 2G are overpowered at uncommon.
Loxodon Hierarch - A bigger version of a current common (Centaur Healer) and the sacrifice effect has been seen at common (Wrap in Vigor).
Rekindled Flame - The base stats are tame enough (4 damage sorcery for 2RR), and the extra text doesn't necessarily have to be rare.
Dauntless Escort - I think this was printed at a time when "indestructible" was considered a rare-only thing. Now, we've got a common spell that grants indestructibility AND can give you a 3/3.
Exotic Orchard- Mostly because the artifact versions of this card exists and isn't a huge deal (Fellwar Stone)
The Scepters (Scepter of Dominance, Scepter of Fugue, Scepter of Insight)- Dominance and Insight have uncommon colorless artifact parallels at uncommon, and Fugue could come along for the ride and probably not be too crazy.
Vedalken Heretic - Like Cutpurse, the design doesn't scream "rare," and this has also never been really powerful anywhere.
At this point, most of the downshifted rares are likely to be to support draft archetypes. Here are some guesses based on that.
Broodstar- A true build-around uncommon for Affinity. Without artifact lands, it's to get him to a 5/5 for 3UU. More a prediction than a wish.
Sprite Noble- At uncommon, looks like a fair Scion of Oona. Reasonably sized faerie with a mini-Anthem attached.
Call of the Herd- If dredge and tokens are both are draft archetypes, uncommon Call makes lots of sense.
Mad Auntie or Knucklebone Witch- I think Goblins will be the B/R theme, and one of these makes sense. The 'other Goblin' clause makes Auntie possible, but Witch is more likely.
Red only gets recursive creatures at rare (see every Phoenix) and Squee is a legend. Except for a few edge cases or in really old sets where they didn't even plan for limited, legendary dudes are rare or mythic. I mean, yeah sure they could make him an uncommon, but there's no precedent for it.
I'm immensely skeptical of worm harvest. the problem I see with it is that the card is completely useless unless built around with cards that already have a very specific function....I can't imagine running worm harvest will yield better results than a build around like isochron scepter, and most people cut the scepter for being too variable. I'd love to find out the contrary, because I really do like the card.

After reading this, I wanted to say 'The difference between Worm Harvest and Isochron Scepter is that Worn Harvest is just part of an archetype instead the whole archetype.' Then I thought 'Well, it's not like those 2-mana instants are useless without Scepter.' So I guess they are the same.
I'm trying it out because I love the idea of the archetype (Golgari as dredge/scavenge/sacrifice deck) and it fits in nicely with a 10-card swap I made in black to support its sacrifice theme.
Time will tell on this one.

Isochron puts a harsh restriction on your deck (tons of instants/sorceries) and can be shut down easily. Worm Harvest is auto-catalyzing and almost impossible to shut down. Of course, whether you gain zero or two worms on the first cast makes all the difference between clunkiest late game engine ever and unstoppaple force, so it does require some build-around, but even at one worm first-cast it's not absolutely horrible.
I fear you might be right in the end, but it's a lot better than Isochron Scepter (I hope).

3 lands in the graveyard on first cast is where it becomes really good. by second cast it's getting close to lingering soul's mana:dudes efficiency.

A) and kamigawa
B) legends are rares to sell packs or to "feel" legendary. He's doing neither here.
C) this is a set that's meant to be drafted by the hardcore crowd. Hardcore players aren't bogged down by "legendary cards feeling like legends"

Worm harvest is absolutely terrible unless you're getting 2 worms on the first go. Even then... it's not more effective than Cenn's enlistment until you've cast it a third time.

I think Sower is waaaaay too good for them to print at uncommon. It would be awesome though.
peasantcube.blogspot.com
the format where sower is uncommon is indeed a departure
But
Considering this will be only good cards...
I wonder what power level the format will have. Especially if they are supporting archetypes...
I wonder
I think we are going to be in for something special. It is very possible

I guess Savannah Lions would be ok as anybody says, but what I want more is a nice new art for Elite Vanguard.
But seriously, any reprint will make me happy.

Pulse of the Grid/Pulse of the Forge- The closest rares I found that would be reasonable uncommons for Storm.
Sigil of Distinction- If any rare equipment was moving to uncommon, it would be this one. Longshot, I'd say.
Demonfire- The exile clause hoses dredge and the hellbent part hoses Faeries. Hope this makes it over Disintegrate.
Seismic Assualt- Only because it's another 'build around me' card. If there'os support for retrace, it would overlap with support for Assault.
Vampiric Spirit- If W/B is filled with lifegain spells, Spirit's drawback wouldn't hurt too much.
Savannah Lions and Troll Asectic- Lions is a gimme at this point, and Asectic is reasonable at uncommon to support R/G aggro.
Char or Hammer of Bogardan- Just want a cool uncommon burn spell that's not Flame Javelin. Hammer also has mild storm synergy.
