The Peasant Travel cube is a 180 card modern frame peasant cube, meant to play with 2-4 players. The cube includes many of the most powerful and iconic cards available to peasant cubes and some personal favorites.
Why 180 cards?
1) We usually draft with 2 players,
2) It's easy to carry around,
3) It's easier to create a consistent power level when including the 'peasant power' cards (and answers to them),
4) It's easier to balance consistent archetypes without running mediocre cards.
Supported archetypes
You can draft general aggressive and controlling strategies. However, at 180 cards, there's not much room for narrow cards at opposing ends of the spectrum (you don't want half your deck to be Savannah Lions and the other half to be Pyroclasms). This means that a lot of decks will be creature-based and can shift role depending on the match-up.
Apart from good-stuff soup decks and the decks you associate with the different color pairs the cube supports:
- Blink
- Reanimate
- Sacrifice
- Tokens
- Spells matter
