MTG Salvation

Background

I'm a Commander player, and had a number of legendary creatures sitting around and a lot of enchantments dating back through the ages. Theros as a black had a few aspects that I enjoyed and others that I loathed. So I felt that with better legendaries and a greater focus on enchantments, the set would been far more interesting with themes. So this is where An Enchanted Evening Cube comes into being

Philosophy

It's an enchantment cube, not a power cube. This means that while "certain cards" are "better" if it doesn't fit the theme or a fit into a slot, then the power up moves towards a more traditional cube. If a card can be powerful within the context of the theme, then that is what we're aiming for.

Conspiracy Module

The Future

1. Adding in Colorless and an Eldrazi Guild section, the goal is not to "smother" the Enchantment theme. Rather to support the "lore" theme with the Legendaries

2. Balance Planeswalkers into the set

3. Strengthen the Enchantment theme

4. Develop more archetypes, right now the focus is to experiment with the color pie to apply some unique experiences that make An Enchanted Evening as an experience different than other cubes. Require more play testing to see the different functionalities from various enchantment blocks and experimental blocks like Time Spiral and Suppmental Sets.
