An update! This one incorporates M15 and the rarity downgrades from Vintage Masters.
Also, we got a chance to cube on Saturday. We had seven drafters, and the results were:
1. Mono Black Aggro
2. U/G Ramp
3/4. R/W/u Midrange
3/4. Jund Aggro
5/6. U/R Spells
5/6. W/B Control (me)
7. Naya Midrange
We had a mono color deck for the first time, and it won the whole thing! Black is clearly the best aggro color in my cube given its plethora of 2-power 1-drops. Usually it gets paired up with at least one other color, but this time my buddy found himself flush with black cards and decided to just go all-in on it; he was rewarded for his boldness!
Noteworthy items that came out of this draft:
Generator Servant is scary when it comes out on turn two. It powered out a game-winning turn 3 Calciderm once, and every time after that became an immediate must kill.
Curse of Shallow Graves is on the ban watchlist. The ability to generate a free 2/2 every turn makes every creature a must kill for your opponent, which is a difficult battle to win. It's staying in for now, but if it continues to prove game/match warping it will have to come out.
Battle Screech coming in for Cenn's Enlistment was a clear upgrade. Generating four power's worth of flyers on turn four is a very powerful effect.
Fire Covenant is immensely powerful. A 3-mana instant speed Plague Wind is something you will almost always want if you are in these colors. Will be keeping my eye on this one.
White/green continues to put up disappointing performances. I think part of this has to do with its relative inability to remove opposing creatures along with its lack of evasion. Has anyone had this two-color combination win or at least perform well consistently in their cube?
Fire covenant is probably the strongest gold card in my cube, competing with electrolyze and a couple others. It's so insane I can't believe we didn't know about it earlier.
I was the Jund Aggro player in this latest draft (sup :v). I wanted to point out that I'm pretty sure it's the first time anyone's drafted a three-color aggro deck from your cube, and I think it was possible entirely because of the addition of the painlands. IIRC I had at least two of the three on-color painlands plus City of Brass and Gemstone Mine, which meant my mana was solid without sacrificing any tempo. With Guildgates or anything else, there would have been too many games where I'd have had to miss my 1- or 2-drops, and it would've just killed my early pressure. So for me personally, at least, this draft was enough to show me that breaking the standard Peasant-ness of the cube was worth it when it comes to lands.
I posted a couple updates to Cubetutor. Card count got bumped up to 390 to keep the ratio of mana fixing lands roughly the same after the addition of the five new trilands. This also allowed me to add a few cards back in that had been tough cuts previously. I have also introduced a +1/+1 counters theme in green and white in an attempt to give Selesnya decks more of a focus. Each of the cards should be fine on their own, but will work better in combination with the others.
Well, it's come up in conversation a couple of times: I don't have a lot of faith in Rage forger but some people seem to be interested in that kind of thing. Not for the pump but for the burn
I really don't love outlast, and I think it's too slow be relevant within a normally paced peasant cube. I can understand wanting more focus in your selesnya section, but I think you may need to slow down your cube in general if you want it to have a fighting chance. A G/W midrange deck should typically steamroll an regular aggro build, but when you have a high paced red/black section and then you make your green and white section a turn or two slower than it normally is, I just don't see that doing well. Making it even slower also makes it more vulnerable against control decks.
You're probably right about that. I just wanted to try it out to see if anything surprises me. Also, I don't see the Outlast ability being used a lot, my hope is that there is enough other +1/+1 counter support that they'll just be acting as "lords". Tokens is next on the list of things to support more heavily if this +1/+1 counter thing falls flat.
An update!
Mostly Fate Reforged related, trying to add a little variety and bolster some existing archetypes. Still pressing on with the +1/+1 counters thing because I haven't had an opportunity to cube much recently, so I don't have a feel yet for how good/bad it is.
That's actually the one I'm most excited to test. A good beater for the spells deck is something I think it's been lacking, plus I think Mistfire Adept is just a solid dude. Hopefully I'm proven correct.

White green does avout average in my cube. It just has to be defensive (penumbra spider, ornitharch, nest invader, battle screech, lone missionary, troubled healer type deck). Must play resilient stuff and spirit tokens help out a lot.

G/W tokens is pretty rad theme to invest more in. You already have Curse of Predation, Overrun, and most of the token makers...bring in Goldknight Commander, maybe Intangible Virtue and Selesnya Guildmage?
Auras is a decent theme to include in selesnya. Armadillo Cloak, Elephant Guide, Griffin Guide, Regenerators, Protection dudes, Phantom guys, etc.
