Yea, the only cards I didn't have in my list already were Master of Waves and Opposition. Super easy changes for me. As always, thanks for all you put into this community. Your cube is an awesome resource.
My group kind of blanched when I brought him up as a possible include for the reasons you mentions. I'm holding off for the time being based on price alone, and blue tempo is still kicking butt in my cube. I may get my hands on one at some point but right now he's a low priority add due to the way my group feels. I don't think you are overreacting. If you and your group don't dig it, don't run it.
I have found it to be too fast a clock and extremely unfun to have for both the user and opponent.
Backed up with counterspells and equipment I have found a few of my games with it extremely boring and non interactive. I don't mind powerful cards in my cube but I don't want my games to be over so fast with no interaction and not enough ways to out play my opponent.
I had a jitte on a TNN on turn 3 of a noble hierarch which sped that game to a fast conclusion.
I even had a race where by I made one and my opponent phantasmal imaged mine but he couldn't pump his while I could equip mine.
Has anyone else had similar issues? am I overreacting?
It is clearly a stong card, but in the end it is just one 3 power creature. It can be swarmed, killed by wraths and edicts, or your deck can just beat it with its own power cards (Jitte, Upheavel, Eureka, Swords, Vortex, Library,...).
A top tier card, but it is not stronger then other powerfull cards in cube. The 'no interaction' part is subjective to me. A lot of strategies play the game differently. A Tinker, Eureka is uninteractive to some, as are reanimation decks. I really like that pure Burn decks are viable in our cube. Some might feel these as too non interactive too, as they are not about creatures blocking each other.
There will always be a best card in your cube. As long as it has answers its ok.
Yup. TNN is good, but it's far from the most powerful card in the cube. It's not even remotely close, actually. It's not even the best blue creature in the cube.
Hey wtwlf, how often do you update the photos of your cube? I've seen a whole lot of your altered cards, and would really love to see them all together.

Not often enough. I want to do one soon, hopefully around the holidays.
What are your thoughts on hornet queen? I rarely see the card used and honestly I'm not really sure when I would even want it. I guess it could be a good defensive reanimation card when you're in a jam, and obviously in mono green it could swing combat in your favor for aggro matchups, but with triple green in the cost for 7 CMC? Not really sure. Any feedback on this card would be awesome. Sell this card to me, make me want to draft it.
Yeah, I like it the best of the 7cc green options. It has lots of cool interactions. It's not a terrible reanimation target either. It makes the opponent deal with a lot of bodies.

It has 6 power, evasion, 5 bodies, it's incredibly good on defense, it can be abused with reanimation/blink/bounce effects, it combines super well with token support cards. It's not about your aggro matchup. It's about every matchup. When is having 5 evasive deathtouch creatures a bad thing? How about strapping it to a Mimic Vat or using Sneak Attack to put it out, or recurring it with Reveillark? Targeting it with Imperial Recruiter in your RG ramp deck and using Sarkhan Vol to swing for 11. Get nasty with Skullclamp. Use any anthem effect to make it super nasty (especially the new Curse of Predation). It's a bomb at face value, and it's incredible if you find a way to abuse it.

Pretty much this. It's a great reanimation target, Natural Order target, top-of-curve creature for ramp or a great midrange/control finisher.
Depending on how many more good gods/enchantments we get in the rest of this block, it may be coming in. It won't replace Seal, but it may go in alongside it. Relic-Warder was just brought in for this purpose too, in addition to being a good tempo critter against power.
They've both been really good. Ophiomancer is a nice source of CA as well as being a baller Pox/Stax engine, and Curae is hard to stop once it gets rolling.
Ya, you might have been able to get the Mana Leak in there, perhaps over the Orangutan because you already have Predator and Pulse? Idk. I'd like to have another target or two for Snappy though. Also, dualcasting a Bribery is sick business, but I get the interaction with Nightmare you were looking for.

I feel compelled to repeat everything I hear
If you guys were so concerned about interactivity (which is valid), TNN wouldn't be close to the first five cards I'd look at to cut.

Meloku, Vendilion Clique, Snapcaster Mage, Venser, Sower, Glen Elendra and TNN are all up there.

Looks like it would be a blast to play, although might be too slow to win the draft.

Snapcaster with only 4 targets? That seems low to me.
