Hey Wtwlf - Thank you so much for all your changes.
Would you be able to do a write up about the implications of having land - spell cards in cube? I see them as nice modal spells, similar to FIRE // ICE or Cryptic Command. I think play test at Wizards was incredibly through this time to ensure no crazy loops could be broken (yet).

Noticed you‘re cutting some bicycle lands and fastlands for the pathway cycle! I had the pathways valued a little lower than those cycles initially and was wondering if you’d like to elaborate on that switch? Thanks for your hard work! The new update looks sick!
Hey wtwlf123! I noticed you cut Wolfbitten Captive for Jungle Lion (among others) in your latest cube update. Can you elaborate on that decision? My cube tries to support green aggro and currently runs the captive but not jungle lion, so I am curious what your thoughts were with this cut.
I think Jungle Lion is a better aggro card than Wolfbitten Captive. Always having 2 power is better than having to pay to have access to it, or to hope the card transforms. I like Captive just fine, but I thought it was my worst aggro creature in green.
Nice job on introducing that Aggro-Loam package Looks great! Have you considered Atarka's Command for support? It's perfect in Aggro and possibly allows for another landdrop, buffing everything!
Great job by the way on keeping your Cube an evolving creature constantly, introducing and trying out new ideas. Always a blast to read the new inclusions.
Ya, Atarka's Command is a cool card, I just don't see a cut for it that I like at the moment!
I always like changing things up and trying new ideas. I've played an aggro-Loam deck before, but it's been a long time since the last experimentation and a lot has changed since then! Looking forward to seeing more of it in action.
Broodmoth/Mikaeus keep returning Kroxa (because it never has a +1/+1 counter or flying counter on it, thanks to Solemnity) and Kroxa keeps sacrificing itself over and over until the opponent's hand is empty and they die (they still lose the 3 life if they don't/can't discard).
Still recommend Vedalken Mastermind for cube, trigger the LTB ability, reuse ETB ability (use with Sneak Attack is cool)and saga's chapter one, also block tricks, and now, you can use MDFC's another face if you want
The card looks fine. I don't think it's better than Hero's Downfall though. Downfall will be able to kill the target I want it to a huge percentage of the time anyways. It'll be more important for me to be able to kill something other than just their biggest target more often than Shatter will kill something that Doenfall can't. And probably by a lot.
i noticed in your azorius section you're running seachrome coast & not glacial fortress; why? you dont think the fortress is going to come in play un-tapped more often than the seachrome? sure it wins the comparison turn 1, but unless i've built my u/w deck wrong, any turn beyond that, the fortress should come in up, whereas the longer the game goes, the seachrome actually becomes worse for me. it was just something that caught my eye, so i thought i'd ask
I don't like the Check Lands. They don't enter untapped when it's the most important, and they don't have enough of an upside to warrant being unable to reliably produce colored mana early. And it's not just T1. I've had many occasions where they enter tapped much later than that, thanks to other nonbasic lands that don't work to untap them; and they get even harder to reliably play untapped if I'm playing more than 2 colors.
For me, Fast Lands >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Check Lands ...and even the Fast Lands are at the bottom of my pool of fixing.
I actually play both Seachrome and Glacial Fortess. I find the amount of fixing in cubes is always lackluster.
I would give the edge to seachrome over Glacial, the short answer is early drops are more important than later drops.

There's nothing wrong with Glacial Fortress. Fixing is fixing. However, I only have so many slots I can dedicate to guild lands, and I like the other fixing land options more.
I actually completely crazy about fixing. I actually have 10 sets of mana fixing (no tri lands) - I find you can never have enough fixing.
My playground - including myself, is just crazy about playing 3-4 color decks. No one wants to stick to Guild or mono color.

We don't want 3-color decks with perfect fixing or 4-/5-color decks with good fixing to be automatic. So we have enough fixing for all decks to be competitive, but it's scarce enough that it needs to be prioritized, and players are still incentivized to play 2-colors if they can. I can draft 3+ color decks with perfect mana, but I need to go all-in on fixing in order to do so. And I think that's a cool give and take.

That actually makes a lot of sense - I have always found that drafting 3 color decks in your cube to be relatively difficult given the lack of fixing.
What I like about support Tri-color decks as the norm is it improves pack relevancy - if everyone is in tri color decks, its much more likely for a card/ signet or land to be playable and allows me to add more archetype anchor cards into the cube
