The cube is very centered around creature combat, and the decks feels more like REALLY good Llorwyn or Onslaught draft decks. That also mean that the best removals and counterspells aren't in the cube, because they have such a big impact, and I want the games to be centered around creature combat. All colors have a 2 to 1 ratio of Creatures to Other Spells, also because I want the decks made from this cube, to be centered around creatures and tribal strategies.

Actually one of the most important things in this cube is to mix and match.
You aren't succesful (most often) unless you combine some tribes.
That's why the changelings, shapeshifters and creatures with more tribes are so important.
If you have ever draftet Onslaught or Llorwyn you should get an idea how this cube is.
The decks aren't as focused as Ons/Lor draft, but on the other hand much more powerful.
Common Archetypes include:
Merfolk/Wizard control
Kithkin/Soldier/Bird aggro
Zombie/Goblin aggro
Zombie/Wizard control
The Gun - untap creatures combined with Power of Fire-like cards.
Ping.deck - with Prodigal Sorcerer like cards and various untap effects. Works alot like The Gun.
Elf/Beast/Treefolk - basicly green with some other color, but focused in Elfs.
Goblin/Elementals - Almost monored, often with a splash in black or blue.
I would definitely try to find some room in green for Briarhorn, the only problem being that I'm not sure how well it'd gel with the elemental tribe. (I'd replace Resounding Roar with it.) I'd also recommend Ashling, the Pilgrim (plays well with elementals but I don't know how much you want its effect since you don't have wrath effects.)

The Briarhorn i have in my main cube, and thus won't be added in this one.
I'll definatly want the Ashling. The massremoval-effect is acceptable imo.
I also need a decent amount of other rares/uncommons from llorwyn and morningtide.
A friend and I are working on putting a tribal cube together. There were a few things we decided at first:
-We wanted to limit the size (a little over enough cards for an 8-man draft) in order to keep the power level high.
-We wanted to limit the tribes as it's really difficult to design with more that 5-6 tribes (I'm curious how this works out for you).
-We wanted a HUGE creature/spell ratio.
-There would be very few non-tribal oriented cards and very little if any wrath effects.

60 of each color, 35 Gold, 20 Artifact, 15 Land.
41/19 creatures to spells in each color including 6 slivers.

A few things learned in design:
-I don't think you can make Rebels work and be competitive with Elves/Goblins.
-While Merfolk we're good they also felt lack luster compared to Elves/Golbins. Wizards enabled blue to have a control plan perfect for blue.
-There wasn't much need for fixing as most of the tribes wanted to be mono with maybe a small splash excluding Slivers.

I wanted the interactment to be more than just a few tribes in my cube.
I cut slivers, fungi, thrulls, spirits and slivers because they are very hard to combine with other tribes, while most of the other tribes are easy to combine, because they have elements that overlap.
What i really need to make this cube even funnier to play with is an entire block focused around creature classes.
A major problem is that there aren't enough creatures that care about warrior, shaman and rogue.
A block like that would really make the interaction between the different races even more interesting.
With the power level differences i've ofcourse experienced some.
Elves are probably the most powerful, followed by gobbos.
But it's nice that green are the best color for a change.
Rebels aren't good enough to be a primary focus of a deck.
But it's good to have a little chain in the deck.
And they can bring out changelings as well.
I love your tribal Cube. Seriously, top marks. I have always wanted to do one of these, and include good Tribal lords for the main classes in my own Cube, where I can. Do you include all the Changelings?

The Cavalier is in though, and is amazing.
I have most changelings in, with exeption of Mirror Entity and Chameleon Colossus, because they are in my main cube.
And they are also too good for this cube imo.
I don't want the games to focus around single card strategies, but more synergy and creature combat.
Updated before the great INN update that's about to take place.
Support for the "Human" tribe, purging of the support for Clerics and Faeries, a bunch of blue Zombies.
With this update red and green remains almost untouched as INN haven't really brought anything of value for those colors. As I don't support Vampires the red tribes aren't supported at all.
Green have a few human support creatures and will have the "Nightmare Elk" zombie tree that will be added.
Support for blue zombies introduced.

Purging of the support for Clerics and Faeries.
Next update will include more purging of the remaining faeries, elementals and other remains of past supported tribes.
I'm looking for another tribe to support in red. Vampires is a possibility, but there's not much room in black to support another large tribe. I really hope wizards will give red another tribe soon, update some of it's secondary tribes, or better even give them warrior support.

I'm making a tribal cube but don't want to spend the money on a bunch of expensive cards. So I added to the cards I already have a Garruk Wildspeaker and Chandra Nalaar as my only planeswalkers. I also though of adding Kahmal Fist of Krosa into my cube which could be used as an alternative to Garruk. It might seem like overkill for me to have both Garruk and Kahmal in my deck.

I don't include non-tribal specific walkers, because I want the games to be focussed around creature interactions and not "one-card strategies" such as walkers. Currently there's only a single walker in Nissa, but you could make an argument for Ajani #1 because it's almost an anthem.

I don't have a specific number for each tribe. The way I do it I instead have a major tribe in each color. W soldiers U merfolk & wizards (I want merfolk to be the primary, but there aren't enough yet) B zombies R goblins G elfs
Each color gets all the good cards in these tribes, and they are the focus. The other colors also get the good cards in the other tribes. For instance I also include all the black goblins, and all the blue zombies. This gives the drafts a very interesting approach, as it opens draft space.
My most important mantra for tribal cubing, is to include as few mass-removal and good spot-removal spells as possible. This makes lords a lot better and removes the multicolored "good cards" strategies, that I don't want to be present in my tribal cube. I want tribes to be the main focus, and not just random good cards.

Eventually you start sticking in cards that are mediocre at best. I don't see why with normal cubes white needs so much mass removal. I have a Wrath of God and Cataclysm. Sometimes Elfs is overdrafted. But that happens in all types of drafts/cubes when you have an archetype that's loved and very good.
This is my secondary cube. My primary cube can be found here http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=194362.
The cube is very centered around creature combat, and the decks feels more like REALLY good Llorwyn or Onslaught draft decks. That also mean that the best removals and counterspells aren't in the cube, because they have such a big impact, and I want the games to be centered around creature combat. All colors have a 2 to 1 ratio of Creatures to Other Spells, also because I want the decks made from this cube, to be centered around creatures and tribal strategies.

The cube is centered around 5 major tribes and some subtribes. Further more there's two major non-tribal strategies: Tokens and Gun (where you combo with pingers, like Prodigal Sorcerer).

Actually one of the most important things in this cube is to mix and match.
You aren't succesful (most often) unless you combine some tribes.
That's why the changelings, shapeshifters and creatures with more tribes are so important.
If you have ever draftet Onslaught or Llorwyn you should get an idea how this cube is.
The decks aren't as focused as Ons/Lor draft, but on the other hand much more powerful.
Common Archetypes include:
Merfolk/Wizard control
Kithkin/Soldier/Bird aggro
Zombie/Goblin aggro
Zombie/Wizard control
The Gun - untap creatures combined with Power of Fire-like cards.
Ping.deck - with Prodigal Sorcerer like cards and various untap effects. Works alot like The Gun.
Elf/Beast/Treefolk - basicly green with some other color, but focused in Elfs.
Goblin/Elementals - Almost monored, often with a splash in black or blue.

-We wanted to limit the size (a little over enough cards for an 8-man draft) in order to keep the power level high.
-We wanted to limit the tribes as it's really difficult to design with more that 5-6 tribes (I'm curious how this works out for you).
-We wanted a HUGE creature/spell ratio.
-There would be very few non-tribal oriented cards and very little if any wrath effects.

A few things learned in design:
-I don't think you can make Rebels work and be competitive with Elves/Goblins.
-While Merfolk we're good they also felt lack luster compared to Elves/Golbins. Wizards enabled blue to have a control plan perfect for blue.
-There wasn't much need for fixing as most of the tribes wanted to be mono with maybe a small splash excluding Slivers.

I wanted the interactment to be more than just a few tribes in my cube.
I cut slivers, fungi, thrulls, spirits and slivers because they are very hard to combine with other tribes, while most of the other tribes are easy to combine, because they have elements that overlap.
What i really need to make this cube even funnier to play with is an entire block focused around creature classes.
A major problem is that there aren't enough creatures that care about warrior, shaman and rogue.
A block like that would really make the interaction between the different races even more interesting.
With the power level differences i've ofcourse experienced some.
Elves are probably the most powerful, followed by gobbos.
But it's nice that green are the best color for a change.
Rebels aren't good enough to be a primary focus of a deck.
But it's good to have a little chain in the deck.
And they can bring out changelings as well.

The Cavalier is in though, and is amazing.
I have most changelings in, with exeption of Mirror Entity and Chameleon Colossus, because they are in my main cube.
And they are also too good for this cube imo.
I don't want the games to focus around single card strategies, but more synergy and creature combat.

Support for the "Human" tribe, purging of the support for Clerics and Faeries, a bunch of blue Zombies.
With this update red and green remains almost untouched as INN haven't really brought anything of value for those colors. As I don't support Vampires the red tribes aren't supported at all.
Green have a few human support creatures and will have the "Nightmare Elk" zombie tree that will be added.

Next update will include more purging of the remaining faeries, elementals and other remains of past supported tribes.
I'm looking for another tribe to support in red. Vampires is a possibility, but there's not much room in black to support another large tribe. I really hope wizards will give red another tribe soon, update some of it's secondary tribes, or better even give them warrior support.

I don't know how many of each creature type you are going for in your deck. I'm putting 60 cards into each color. I'm making green have 20 elves, white with 20 soldiers, black with 15 zombies and blue with 15 wizards. I want to make sure there are enough of each creature type so a person could be able to draft tribal type of deck. I would add more Zombies and wizards but they many of them are too expensive. Many of the good wizards and zombies that I could use are at least $4-5.
I don't include non-tribal specific walkers, because I want the games to be focussed around creature interactions and not "one-card strategies" such as walkers. Currently there's only a single walker in Nissa, but you could make an argument for Ajani #1 because it's almost an anthem.
I don't have a specific number for each tribe. The way I do it I instead have a major tribe in each color.

Each color gets all the good cards in these tribes, and they are the focus. The other colors also get the good cards in the other tribes. For instance I also include all the black goblins, and all the blue zombies. This gives the drafts a very interesting approach, as it opens draft space.
My most important mantra for tribal cubing, is to include as few mass-removal and good spot-removal spells as possible. This makes lords a lot better and removes the multicolored "good cards" strategies, that I don't want to be present in my tribal cube. I want tribes to be the main focus, and not just random good cards.
