Changes from Commander and M12 (a bit behind I know!), as well as some misc changes:
White: Nothing
Blue: Lu Xun, Scholar General --> Phantasmal Image: Blue is getting so difficult to cut from. I decided to get rid of Lu Xun because he is very similar to Magpie, but w/o the ability to block flies, which I think I prefer over unblockability. Desertion --> Jace, Memory Adept: Don't really have a problem with Desertion, but sometimes keeping 5 mana open can be difficult if the opponent is putting pressure on you.
? --> Memory Lapse: Ran out of ideas on what to cut for this. Any help would be appreciated. Future Sight --> Gifts Given: Trying out the UnGifts, which i know from personal experience is rediculous and probably up there in the top 10-15 most powerful cards in the cube.
Black: Lashwrithe --> Sewer Nemesis: Man I wish every cut was this easy. Lashwrithe was using a test spot, and hasn't really performed so out it goes.
Red: Hellkite Charger --> Stormblood Berserker: I feel like I want to improve on the start of my curve, and with the recent addition of Moltensteel Hellkite, the Charger seems to be a bit more expendable. Manic Vandal --> Chandra's Phoenix: A bit unsure of this cut. We'll see how the subtraction of a sex monkey affects the artifact dominance. Aftershock --> Chaos Warp: Straight swap for similar functionality. Aftershock may come back later. Flame Javelin --> Chandra, the Firebrand: Flame Jav is just overcosted these days and doubling a spell just seems so fun!
Green: Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary --> Scavenging Ooze: With advent of less and less mono / 2 color decks in my cube, Rofellos' stock has taken a fall. We'll wait and see if his presence is missed. Noxious Revival --> Garruk, Primal Hunter: Noxious Revival is not good and was routinely picked 15th. New Garruk looks outstanding. Pelakka Wurm --> Woodfall Primus: I really just want to play with the strongest 8 drop in green, but like the uniqueness of Terastodon and want to keep him. I feel that at this point in the curve, the difference between 7 and 8 mana, especially in green, is not enough to matter in any significant way.
Most of the changes look very good. I'd keep Lu Xun at this size, and I wouldn't drop Manic Vandal or Aftershock either. Especially not both in the same update.

Fair enough, what sticks out to you in my list as replacements?
White: Silver Knight --> Cloistered Youth: Just more of the double colored purge to make aggressive decks more consistent. I'm really glad that we got this gem late. I don't see this leaving the cube for a long time, if ever.
Blue: Kira, Great Glass-Spinner --> Snapcaster Mage: Huh, another amazing invitational 2 cost guy. Really excited to test him out. Kira feels like she would shine in an aggressive blue section, which mine is not. Tolarian Academy --> Forbidden Alchemy: Tolarian Academy just doesn't make the cut the majority of the time. I'd rather have a more consistent card, and the new Impulse variant adds another enabler for reanimation in the perfect color combination.
Black: Thrashing Wumpus --> Bloodgift Demon: Thrashing Wumpus has been fine, but I think the CA from Bloodgift Demon will be able to finish out games easier than Wumpus, and both have the same drawback of being unable to use their abilities at low life, though Bloodgift notably helps your opponent when your at low life since you have to let your opponent draw. We'll have to see how relevant that drawback is during testing. Yawgmoth's Bargain --> Diregraf Ghoul: Card that rarely gets played out for best black 1 drop ever printed. Seems good. Yawgmoth's Will --> Liliana of the Veil: Again, card that rarely gets played out for new PW. Liliana seems like it will add a needed redundancy for reanimation deck enablers. Mirri the Cursed --> Bloodline Keeper: No activation cost or drawback to make 2/2 creatures and the fact that it's a 3/3 flyer in its own right push this over the top in my books. The fact that it also wins the stalemate after 4 turns is just gravy.
Red: Banefire --> Devil's Play: As wtwlf stated, double use > uncounterability. Keldon Champion --> Instigator Gang: I've been slowly culling the echo creatures, and Instigator Gang seems like it will serve a similar role in aggressive decks, getting those last couple points of damage thru, sans the echo cost next turn. Fire Ambush --> Brimstone Volley: I'm not really stoked to cut Fire Ambush, but I didn't see anything in the 3cc section that I'd like to cut, or the entire creature section for that matter.
Green: Creeping Mold --> Bramblecrush: Mostly an upgrade, outside of not being able to kill artifact creatures. Spike Weaver --> Garruk Relentless // Garruk, the Veil-Cursed: Easier mana cost, and being able to generate tokens may actually serve the same purpose as fogging if it's used to chump block. Probably the weakest Garruk printed, but still plently playable.
Guild: Blazing Specter --> Olivia Voldaren: This is just a test switch. Being able to Masticore things seems fine by itself, let alone grow from the ability and Sower things late game. The body attached to it is also fine for the cost.
Other: Dismiss --> Memory Lapse: Removing more mana intensive counter for tempo counter. Easy enough. Stupor --> Entomb: This one I'm not sure on, as Stupor has performed well since it's inclusion. I just really want to add Entomb because its such a flexible enabler for a wide variety of strategies.
Thieving Magpie --> Sturmgeist: Yes the 'Geist cost's 1 more, but the p/t difference just seems worth it, especially in a stalled board. We'll see how it performs and bring back the magpie if this card under performs.

On a stalled board, won't you typically have a small hand? (Granted 2 or 3 power is a faster clock than Magpie, but you also can't play the last card you're holding or sturmgeist dies.)
True, but my guess is that the number of times ill be stuck with one card in hand and needing to play it THAT turn is < the number of times I can't actually attack at all with Magpie because there is a larger opposing flyer.

If I'm playing blue, the last thing I want to do is to play the last card in my hand.
I think we are going to at least give Reckless Waif a try in Goblin Patrol's spot. The numbers that LegendaryFerret ran seem pretty convincing and at least warrant a test on my side of the house. I'll let you all know how things work out.

I like a lot of your changes! Partly because many changes are exactly or similar to those that I made! LOL
However I'm a huge fan of Kira, Great Glass-Spinner, as he's great for blue/x aggro and can protect your fatty win condition.
I like your Spike Weaver for Garruk Relentless. I may just make that change as well. I'm still undecided about Garruk 3.0 though.
Seems that I'm one of the few remaining people on the forum who still likes Keldon Champion. He's often a 6 damage swing for our multiplayer cube. Even more in the late game, if you choose to pay the echo cost.
I also like Mirri the Cursed as the random black flying haste creature with first strike. People just doesn't expect that in black anymore.
Finally, let me know how your Thieving Magpie for Sturmgeist change works out. I was thinking of those change too..
I would keep in Yawgmoth's Will and leave out Bloodline Keeper, who looks only OK not great.
I would keep Creeping Mold and cut Harmonize for Bramblecrush.
I still like Keldon Champion and am thinking about ways to get him back into my cube. I'm thinking of cutting Bogardan Hellkite for him. Maybe you should try that out.
I would absolutely run Stupor over Corpse Dance--and I love reanimator. Stupor is great for aggro decks, even if it pales in comparison to Hymn to Tourach.
I like the Champion, but as it's been discussed in the Eval thread, the competition is really steep at the 4CC slot, and I don't think it makes the cut in smaller cubes anymore. In 500, it's probably a perfectly fine inclusion, and at 540, he's right at home.

@ Kira: The problem I have with her is that she excels in a blue deck that is aggressive, which doesn't come up often enough to secure her spot. Yes she protects your finisher, but so do counter spells, which seem useful in a lot more situations.
@ Keldon Champion: I agree that he's a great creature. He's one of the few echo creatures I like at all, and will probably make his way back into the cube in a future update depending on how some of the slots work out.
@ Mirri the Cursed: Again, another fine creature. I just really want to try out Bloodline Keeper because making 2/2 flyers just seems so boss. I used to love playing Skeletal Vampire, and this seems like a cheaper alternative that can get out of control more quickly.

@ Yawg's Will: I've seen this card do very little since it's inclusion. That may be a testament to our group undervaluing it, which is possible. As I stated above though, I really want some play time with Bloodline Keeper, which I think alot of people on this forum are undervaluing.
@ Creeping Mold: I do need to find a spot for Creeping Mold, but I don't know if Harmonize is the right cut. I don't really see anything else that I'd rather cut right now though.
Custom Cube (Attempt #47)
As we all know, the amount of work that goes into making a custom cube is nothing short of astronomical. There are some points I'd like to hit while creating cards for this cube:
1. The majority of cards should feel fun to play with
2. Less than 5% of cards created should be stronger than a card considered to be a 360 staple.
3. About 10% of the cards will be reprints, which will lend some stability to the custom cube and give a foundation, power wise. (Wrath of God, Lightning Bolt, Counterspell etc will be the targets of interest)
Outside of that, feedback is appreciated as always, but final card inclusion / non inclusion will be up to me. This will be a slow rolling project, as I REALLY don't want to get burned out, like so many other attempts at this.
This post will be linked to my OP and updated as ideas are submitted/come to me. Thanks all, and hopefully this one actually gets done.
Also, the creator of any cards I didn't create will be denoted next to the name of the card. If you'd like your card to be removed, just PM me.

I'm not so sure about the land cycle in your custom cube. They seem even worse than the M10 duals.
What about, rather than needing to tap a creature of a certain type, you must reveal a creature card in your hand similar to the lorwyn tribal land cycle. Like, the BU one has "you must reveal a blue/black creature in hand" or it etb tapped.

I agree. I had originally created them for a tribal custom set and was going to sit on them a bit before deleting them. I'm probably going to just have 10 fetch / 10 duals, then create the final 10 to cater to specific strengths that each color combination has.Your idea fits best in creature heavy strategies, so I'll prob use this (if you don't mind) for r/g and g/w and r/w. Thanks for the feedback.
In the case of Idol v Juggernaut, I prefer Juggs by a fair margin. I do love Idol, but four mana five power is hard to pass over.

@ Stupor: Seems fair.
Thanks for the comments!

Custom Cube
