When Gatecrash comes out I'm probably going from 400 to 450 cards. (I just like the number 450 for cubes alot more than most others) I'm currently using 5 painlands as proxies for the missing 5 guild gates.
Niveous Wisp, Does seem weak, but it clears a blocker for a turn, doesn't cost a card, and I don't have many one drop spells at the moment.
Kor Chant is slated to be included in the next update. I'll just have to get and alter one.
Niblis of the Mist isn't that great and I could see cutting it. I want. I don't want to play Soltari Visionary due to a) wanting to keep the number of shadow dudes down and b) wanting to keep the number of non vital non-foils down.
Elgaud is a holdover from looking at Usman's list. I'll try it out, and if I don't like it, I'll cut it.
Sentinels/Nephalia both kind of function as spot removal from time to time. I'll keep them for now. But I will definilty look into getting a Fencer Clique. Not so much on the wayward soul. (stupid non foil sets)

Rift bolt is in the cube already. I have a Foil Magma Burst sitting in my maybe box right now, I'll probably add it in the expansion.

I've been looking at Sluiceway Scorpion from RtR drafts and I like it. I also have a foil Trow in my maybe list. I think Black wants another beefy creature so Longlegs helps to fill that role.

And yet you have shadow guildmage and wild nacatl in the mono coloured section. It may skew the numbers a bit but you could add a tri colour section with these cards and add 3 other cards representing the shards, such as Sangrite Backlash. You also include teetering peaks as red but have the cycle lands in the land section. I guess I am just nit-picking here but the cube looks very solid.

I'm never going to include a tri color section. But I feel the cube is stronger for having those cards and being an insignificantly small amount imbalanced towards grixis and naya than not having those cards. Since I will play Wild nacatal if I'm selesyna or gruul and will play the shadowmage if I'm only dimir or rakdos.
If I move the cycling lands from land to the proper color section I'm just going to be shrinking the land section by five and upping WUBRG by one. So it's just a difference in book keeping. Since I'm playing the entire cycle I'll just keep them where they are.

I'm looking to increase my land section by 10 when I go up to 450 cards. (5 missing guildgates and 5 "colorless" lands) I don't know if it's possible at this point to do.
My "colorless" options for the last three lands are

Shimmering Grotto
Urzatron
Seems like Shimmering Grotto is the only playable land out of the remaining options. I might just put in a playset of Terramorphic Expanse and cut them as WoTc prints more playable options. Any opinions?

Is there any reason those slots have to be lands? You could always run more Artifacts instead. Say Scuttlemutt, Viridian Longbow and, er, Skyreach Manta? (Reaching a bit admittedly but no worse than you would be with lands.)

THe only Artifact I currently have set aside is Moonglow Extract.
Couple of problems with the Urza's Cycling lands
1) I would only add in the full cycle, which doesn't work when I have only 3 slots open.
2) Besides Polluted Mire there are no foils of this cycle. And adding non-foils seem less than optimal.

Since you are having trouble trying to find extra decent lands to put in maybe shift the lands you do have (halimar depths and teetering peaks) into the land section. You could also make it a cycle if you wish with Khalani Garden and Sejiri Steppe the only problem is the black lands are pretty bad. Bojuka Bog is too narrow and Piranha Marsh is just useless. Maybe have Polluted Mire as the black card in the cycle (even though it makes no sense. Or just have a partial cycle with just halimar depths, teetering peaks and Sejiri Steppe, since it barely changes what you had anyway.
But then again, Bojuka Bog is probably more useful then half of the other lands that you could be introducing.
Transguild Prominad is in my ondeck box. And if they print a couple more playable common lands, I will add the second one. But currently we just don't have the options to expand to 10 "colorless" lands in pauper.
I currently plan on doing something like this when I get my next package in the mail.

Kitsune Blademaster is sadly from the Kamigawa block, so it inheriely sucks. But I'm hoping it will work better than Niblis of the Mist.

Prodigal Sorcerer is probably not optimal. If you knew me two years ago I kept Tim in my normal cube for WAY too long because of how much I like that bugger. I'm not sure how much cutting all these blue flash flyers will hurt the skys archetype though.
Black
Stab Wounds has been really good in RTR draft, and I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. Exhume is meh.
Red
Geistflame was always meh

I'm unsure on the UG card to cut here.
Golgari Longlegs was never the large creature I wanted it to be.

I'd maybe cut Oracle before Snakeform. Snakeform has the bonus of being hybrid, making it easier on colors. Plus it just allows for more interesting things to happen. Oracle isn't the kind of card that would influence me to play UG, which is what I'd look for in a multicolored card.
Goblin Arsonist is a bad Mogg Fanatic, but that still might be playable. I wish I would had thought of it yesterday before I placed my order. I'll keep it in mind for the next time around come the next set.

Just wanted to say that I run Snakeform in my Peasant Cube and I'm happy with it. It's not fancy but it's easy to play, replaces itself and all around gets the job done.
You're right about Gatecrash though. I'm sure something in the set will replace it soon.

(man-o-war, aether adept, mist raven, mulldrifter, Aethersnope, Mnenonic wall, archaomancer, Ninja of the Deep Hours, resetting illusionary forces)

You also include teetering peaks as red but have the cycle lands in the land section. I guess I am just nit-picking here but the cube looks very solid.
I'm never going to include a tri color section. But I feel the cube is stronger for having those cards and being an insignificantly small amount imbalanced towards grixis and naya than not having those cards. Since I will play Wild nacatal if I'm selesyna or gruul and will play the shadowmage if I'm only dimir or rakdos.
If I move the cycling lands from land to the proper color section I'm just going to be shrinking the land section by five and upping WUBRG by one. So it's just a difference in book keeping. Since I'm playing the entire cycle I'll just keep them where they are.

THe only Artifact I currently have set aside is Moonglow Extract.
Couple of problems with the Urza's Cycling lands
1) I would only add in the full cycle, which doesn't work when I have only 3 slots open.
2) Besides Polluted Mire there are no foils of this cycle. And adding non-foils seem less than optimal.

Kor Chant was an oversight in my original construction.
Kitsune Blademaster is sadly from the Kamigawa block, so it inheriely sucks. But I'm hoping it will work better than Niblis of the Mist.

Prodigal Sorcerer is probably not optimal. If you knew me two years ago I kept Tim in my normal cube for WAY too long because of how much I like that bugger. I'm not sure how much cutting all these blue flash flyers will hurt the skys archetype though.

Stab Wounds has been really good in RTR draft, and I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. Exhume is meh.

Goblin Arsonist might not be the worst, either.
I knew it would either be Oracle or Snakeform that gets dropped for the Zeppelid. And while Oracle is not a card that puts you into UG (very few pauper multicolored cards are that good), I am happy to play it in any deck. It is as close as we are going to get to a Wall of Blossom. On the other hand Snakeform is just a slightly better Turn to Frog, and I'm not sure if that is worth taking my third slot. I have a feeling that in a few months I would be cutting which ever one I am keeping due to Gatecrash though.

Just wanted to say that I run Snakeform in my Peasant Cube and I'm happy with it. It's not fancy but it's easy to play, replaces itself and all around gets the job done.
You're right about Gatecrash though. I'm sure something in the set will replace it soon.

I'm holding off on including the 0/1 evolver for now. Cutting Opt because Ponder/Preordain/BS are enough. You really only want to suspend Infiltrator turn 2-3. After that and you are almost better just hard casting it for 5. I've always loved the gating mechanic. Blue has quite a few ways of abusing the gate-mechanic. (man-o-war, aether adept, mist raven, mulldrifter, Aethersnope, Mnenonic wall, archaomancer, Ninja of the Deep Hours, resetting illusionary forces)

Wokej is an obvious addition, Reverse Agony Warp less so. I'm willing to give it a chance. I'll probably get flak for cutting Legionnaire but I've never felt like the white part of this card was relevant. And I think that RW wants a 2/2 haster on turn 2 more.
