Undead Gladiator is a 3/1 beater for three that the opponent can't get rid of, and it's also a great engine for reanimation/discard tricks... and he cycles if nothing else.
Pestilence is good. Thrashing Wumpus is a Pestilence that also gives you a 3/3 for 1 more. He's been great. I've won (and lost) quite a few games simply because the Wumpus wrecks aggro and gets in for (seven) damage per turn cycle.
i am all out of ideas, then haha.
plaguelord and decree of pain?
our cube doesn't run plaguelord, (only because we don't have one) so i can't vouch for him. i know he was nuts in constructed when he was standard (er... type 2) legal waaaay back in the day.
decree of pain, however, i can definitely vouch for. an uncounterable infest that nets you a card? yeah, i'd say that's pretty good. i've also seen it hard cast at least once. that was a total blowout as well. no way i'd cut this card... especially not for persecute.
Ya, Decree of Pain isn't going anywhere. Uncounterable, instant-speedInfest that also cantrips? Too good. Plus, the hard-cast ability has been seen more than once, and that's just a brutal effect when it happens. A Damnation that draws you bunches of cards at the same time. Awesome.
Phyrexian Plaguelord on the other hand... he's solid, but perhaps could be cut for the Skittering Skirge. I like the Plagueord's ability to work with (and against) Balance, but I think I've got better black control creatures (Visara, Bane, Muse, etc...)
I'll talk to the playgroup and see what they think.
I just cut Goblin Bombardment too. That card had good times in my cube, but M10 does hit that quite badly, and it was towards the border already as you say.
Goblin Patrol looks better than solid - he should be an auto-include in R/x aggro. I'll add him myself.
I only have one of each GURU... I'm not that cool; or rich. I've got 5 of each APAC, Arena and EURO land though. For a total of 9 different pictures of each land and 41 total lands of each type.
Now that your classic cube is close to perfect, you should really make a "new frame cube". I would like to try a "Old, Old, New" booster draft...
I'm trying to convince a friend of mine to build a "new face" cube, but he's not really into it. He likes the idea of using the most powerful cards available, and most of 'em are older cards.

Well - you need a new project soon anyway.
You know you can't help it.
But you are aware that we will be bugging you for pictures from now on, right?
I demand to see so many pretty foily cards in one place!
I will post pictures as soon as I get the last of the cards. Once it's 100% pimped (only six cards left! ...and they shouldn't be that hard to get) I will post pictures of the whole cube.
Have the green stompy creatures such as Wild Dogs, Ghazban Ogre, Rogue Elephant, and in a sense Skyshroud Elite been played enough that you would recommend including them in a traditional cube? my cube is at one of those points where it feels like the balance of power is slightly in favor of more controlling decks, and trying to give the aggressive decks back some "bite".
Both the Wild Dogs and the Skyshroud Elite are in my friend's traditional cube. G for a 2/3 is good (because the non-basic ability almost always triggers) and the Wild Dogs can always be cycled for 2 if the G for 2/1 doesn't have value anymore.
Rogue Elephant is okay, but there are better creatures that could be in more traditional cubes (that can use Wild Nacatl and Jungle Lion, etc.) but the Ghazban Ogre is completely outclassed by newer one-drops. I have to use it though, and he's decent enough in an "older" cube environment.
The knight was in for a while, then out, and now back in again.
We were finding that black was a little crowded with removal spells and 4-Drops... we also needed another efficient early to mid-game black creature. This change solves all three of my problems.
Oh man... so good.

Probably a good move seeing as how M10 makes Bombardment slightly worse. I think Goblin Patrol will be an excellent addition.

I wanted to bump the cube back up to a nice round number (450) which is exactly 25% over the minimum 8-Man 360 card draft pool.
I took out one card and added in 26 to do this.
