Loam Crushes Primal command no matter how you slice it. Primal command is a card that you can play if you really like it, but no one will be sad if its not there really. Loam on the other hand!
I think I like Living death too much for the complete turn around it provides to cut it, I agree with wtwlf123 that consuming vapor would be a more overall "useful" card I mean the only requirement of the vapor being useful is "opponent is playing creatures". where is living death requires a bit more set up, but I think the amazing effect is worth it.

I am petitioning for the end of: the Mythic rarity, the Planeswalker card type, the post-8th edition card faces, the 2010 rule changes, colorless cards that aren't artifacts or lands, the Legendary supertype, the stack, auras, multicolor cards, artifact creatures, tokens, goblins, merfolk, elves, sorceries, instants, and permanents. Basically, I just want to play with purple contraptions.

And Loam works with a ton of different cards in the cube. All the fetchlands, wasteland effects, barbarian ring, gargadon, all the geddon effects, balance, zuran orb, stormbind, the masticores, mongrel, man-lands... and it's great against LD and discard. It seems like every time I draft it I find more and more uses for the card.
Well good, hopefully it can be as good for us as it is for you. Now I just need to get my hands on a foil....
As for the new burn spells from ROE, I think I'm going to make the following changes
- Smash to Smithereens (Conditional burn coming out for unconditional burn. The loss of one anti-artifact card shouldn't hurt that much, and it has been stranded in hand several times since I added it back in.)
- Ghitu Encampment (Even though he received some love when I suggested the cut, he just hasn't been good for us. Similar to the reason we dropped Fairie Conclave over a year ago, it's just hard to get a manland that performs as well as Treetop Village does.)
- Sulfur Elemental (I want to increase the number of burn spells in my cube, so I don't particularly want to cut Hammer of Bogarden or Urza's Rage as others have been doing to add in Staggershock. Elemental is good, but he definitely sticks out to me now as the red card that is most on the fence between awesome and average.)

+ Staggershock, Forked Bolt, Mini-Skred
Cube and EDH are pretty much the best Magic formats in the world. If you aren't playing them, you should be.
