Eternal Witness x Sentinel of the Nameless City. This being playable on curve off a mana dork and having over twice the raw stats as Eternal Witness + cleaner 2G mana cost is a nice upgrade. This is much less abusable than Eternal Witness with blink / recursion effects, but in high powered cubes that's become pretty slow / grindy. Can loop Time Walk once you have 8 lands assuming this can't be killed in combat, so it has that going for it. Probably an upgrade overall to Eternal Witness in high powered Vintage cubes. The stats + vigilance are especially welcome for contesting monarch / initiative.
This looks excellent. Regrowth is a very good, but very bricky, card, so getting access to it without having to put it into your deck is extremely strong. The "tradeoff" is that you have to play a 2G 3/4 Vigilance beforehand and lose access to the Regrowth if it's removed, but that's a trivial price to pay for conjuring a Regrowth out of thin air. This card is good at nearly all stages of the game and gives both card advantage and card selection, two things G decks are always desperate for. While some of Green's other 3-drops could be valued more highly for their specific niches, I think Emeritus of Abundance is Green's new best 3-drop in terms of general use.
Agree on all counts. Working with a million of green synergies like gsz, collected company , fuana shaman, and survival of the fittest make me excited. Yes we have gotten big E witness before but I think we have moved to a place were not being able to proactively deploy the threat and waiting for the goodsutff in the graveyard makes e witness weaker.

My second experience is that these kicker variants are all better than it looks.
Apart from the 8-land attacking-dependent gameplan, you can also loop time walks / warps using Displacer Kitten because the Emeritus enters prepared.
