Overlord of the Boilerbilge
4RR
Enchantment Creature - Avatar Horror
Impending 4 - 2RR
When this enters or attacks, it deals 4 damage to any target.

Inferno Titan is a top 2 titan in my book, and this is essentially a modal version of that. Seems head and shoulders the best of the Overlord cycle so far. Strong in all sorts of shells from midrange / Wildfire / cheaty face / etc. Really looking forward to this card.
Ya, this looks solid to me too. I play a wide variety of decks this can play well in, and being able to serve as a Lightning Blast when it needs to will add some versatility.

I didn't realize if you cast it for its impending cost you get the 4 damage. That sounds great!
I misread this card at first and thought it only deal 4 damage to target creature and thought it was horrible. Then I reread it and I'm actually liking it a fair bit.
I wonder if you could only
Choose between inferno Titan and this card , what’s better?
im leaning towards the overlord but not confident.
As a stand alone create for 6 mana it’s clearly worse, but that optionality is real nice.
I’d personally still go with Inferno Titan because it’s the better cheat target. While the modality is nice on this, Impending is quite slow, making this not too great in decks that can’t cheat this out. Being an enchantment creature is also mostly a downside in a lot of cubes since it opens it up to more removal.
What's better than one Inferno Titan? Two Inferno Titans! I do prefer the OG though because being able to swat down 2+ creatures/planeswalkers is so game changing. The modality here is nice, but I feel like you're often going to feel bad when you have to suspend this guy.
