Sun Titan 2.0. While this doesn't have the ceiling of Sun Titan, this has a much better floor and isn't as much of a buildaround. I like this a lot more for control decks, being a flyer and having 2 shield counters is really nice to work with. Also works as a great payoff for superfriends and / or +1/+1 counters matters.
I guess more often than not this will be a 4WW 5/5 angel with a shield counter, a 1/1 Citizen and draw a card on ETB (barring instant speed exile effects). Seems like good value. Wish it had Vigilance.
How does this compare to Linvala, the Preserver? Linvala can't draw cards but can save you from burn, and the body is makes can be a relevant threat in the later game unlike these 1/1's. However, this draws an extra card every turn and can protect itself.
I like this much more than Linvala, the Preserver because Linvala’s two “if” clauses are off more often than I’d like.
Because Sanctuary Warden comes with two shield counters, even in the case of instant speed non-exile removal you still get a card, a token, and your Angel lives. I also like that it’s a payoff for +1/+1 counter strategies.

I also like this more than Linvala, this is more versatile, and I prefer the higher floor and built-in protection to Linavala's comeback from behind triggers.
This looks like White's version of All-Seeing Arbiter. I like the triggered ability less, and I'm even less interested in an expensive White creature than I am a Blue one, so this will be a pass.
I'm not sure about this one. My first reaction was hard pass for expensive white creature, but the more I look at it the more it seems at least worth testing. On an empty board it's a 5/5 flier with a regen shield that draws a card and makes a token. If you are behind it's the same creature, but being able to block something and chump another is good. I think it will really come down to the types of removal. There's a good amount of exile and toughness based removal in most cubes.
720-900 range might want to give her a test, but not good enough for smaller cubes imo. Reminds me of Sigarda, Host of Herons with slightly more ETB value (for an increased cost). Shield counters not protecting against exile effects is a bummer.
6 mana is a lot for a white creature and I don't she does quite enough for the cost.
Great against removal, but gets trumped by all other 6CMC+ bombs... Doesn't finish the game fast for it's cost, if it's an arms race. Stabilizes against a wide board ok, but nothing exceptional.
A fine control finisher, but there's a LOT of competition for that position.
Sun titan is on the chopping block for me and don't think sanctuary warden quite measures up.
