Toluz, Clever Conductor(W/U)U(U/B)
Legendary Creature — Human Rogue
When Toluz, Clever Conductor enters the battlefield, it connives. (Draw a card, then discard a card. If you discarded a nonland card, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.)
Whenever you discard one or more cards, exile them from your graveyard.
When Toluz, Clever Conductor dies, put the cards exiled with it into their owner’s hand.
3/1
This card seems more interesting to me for an Esper slot than Raffine. The hybrid symbols make it way easier to cast, and can be played in a monoblue deck, an Azorius deck, or a Dimir deck. I like having one slot for each shard/wedge, but having an option that doesn't require all three colors to cast is a huge boon. Interacts well with looters (except JVP), cycling, discard effects like Seasoned Hallowblade, and random things like Balance if you have more cards.
I see this as a Containment Construct / Rielle, the Everwise / Conspiracy Theorist. Can't say I'm a fan of these types of cards unless you're supporting cycling / discard matters type things like I just mentioned since looting is really something that doesn't need help. This is actually counterproductive in a lot of scenarios since the exile is mandatory, meaning you can't even discard cards in the graveyard even if you wanted to. IMO, Rielle is a better variant of this card across the board since you draw immediately and doesn't rely on a death trigger to get the value.

This being a baseline 4/2 draw a card is way more potent than all of those however. And it doesn’t require you to play the cards immediately like the 2 mana options.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
