Atsushi, the Blazing Sky 2RR
Legendary Creature - Dragon Spirit (M)
Flying, trample
When Atsushi, the Blazing Sky dies, choose one:
-Exile the top two cards of your library. Until the end of your next turn, you may play those cards.
-Create three Treasure tokens.
4/4
Good stats, great (and flexible) death trigger. How pushed does a Baneslayer-esque red 4 have to be to make it?
I'd say this is about even with Thunderbreak Regent. I do like Atsushi's triggers more, but Thunderbreak Regent's condition is more consistent against things like exile / Control Magic effects. Trample is nice, but I don't think this is pushed enough for me to consider it considering I'm already pretty low on Thunderbreak Regent.
I'm kind of high on this card, gives you more mana when you have many cards, gives you more cards when you have a lot of mana. That's all you really want to be doing when playing Magic, isn't it? 4/4 Frampling body on top of that seems over the top
Red 4 CMC is stacked. If it was create 3 1/1 tokens, then it might be interesting.
