Brimaz at home is decent
cons: lower floor power. doesn't create a token on block. Tokens don't have vigilance.
pros: higher ceiling power. can create a token the turn it ETBs when you swing with your 1- or 2-drop. also it itself doesn't need to attack to make a dude
Absolutely insane 3 drop, holy *****. Brimaz meets combat calligrapher. If you’ve got another creature to attack the turn you play it the clock is equal to rabblemaster, but you’ve got a much bigger butt.
When you can’t get an immediate token it is still pretty comparable to brimaz. Token on blocking is relevant but not crucial whereas this can be a faster clock and attack into more things/trade up on defense.

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
I like this card - but I'm not looking forward to having all my 3 drops in my cube become either an ETB creature or a Goblin Rabblemaster variant.

I thinkkk it's better than brimaz for cube, but very comparable. Gonna replace them 1 for 1 and expect to not look back.
Brimaz has been dropping lower and lower in the rankings for me, ok with not having two brimaz clones in the cube going forward.
If you run a humans archetype, this should be the ultimate slam dunk.
Incredible for Champion of the Parish and Thalia’s Lieutenant.
Do you want to provide some input on the humans archetype? I shyed away from the humans archetype because I found it to be a bit too parasitic. How good are Champion of the Parish/ Thalia's Lieutenant as a 1/ 2 drop in a general white aggro shell?

Love this, going in over Elite Spellbinder (which has been very good, but is def the worst white 3 we still play). Card looks absurd, and it's nice to finally have a giant, playable high power beater besides Grafted Wargear to come down the turn before an Armageddon.
Incredible for Champion of the Parish and Thalia’s Lieutenant.

Our group likes those cards quite a bit. They perform better if you think of them as having synergies in a typical Wx aggro deck instead of being an “archetype.” In our Cube depending on the makeup of your deck a Champion of Parish might be the most powerful 1-drop and easily Nacatl+ in size, or the human density just doesn’t come together in a particular draft and it’s not great. Generally they are almost always going to be good in mono white though.

I could see Champion of the Perish be pretty good with one other human (1 mana 2/2 is good enough of a "floor"). But Thalia's Lieutenant/ xathrid necromancer would need 2 or more humans to really break out of the 3/3 floor. Out of my 47 white creatures, I have 21 humans. But if I wanted to push the humans theme, I could easily bring this to 24-25.

It feels like Brimaz never does enough for us, so I will be swapping him out for this. The ability to play this then hit with your 2-drop and also get a 1/1 immediately is huge, and the blocking portion of Brimaz just never seemed to matter.
Brimaz has still been a top dog (or cat) for my list, but damn this card is hot. I just have to decide as mentioned above how many of these I want. do i cut brimaz for this or run this along side. tough decision!
I think it kind of boils down to Brimaz for soldiers or cats and Adeline for humans. We haven't seen WOTC support our soldiers in a really long time. Qasali Slingers is the only really good cat synergy I'd want to cube. So I think Adeline comes out ahead.
Had this card kill me off of 7 attack, and saw the same guy get a Deranged Hermit down with this thing in play for a billion against somebody else. This thing is a monster in combat when left unchecked. Being both token support and token payoff has been awesome, think this is gonna be sticking around for a while (alongside Brimaz, King of Oreskos for us, we're playing both)

Yes, whenever you attack. Otherwise the card would reference Adeline in that line.

I do have Paliano Vanguard and Metallic Mimic in my cube already - but that's for persist.

If a humans archetype was a thing in my cube, this would slightly strengthen Vizier of Remedies, Recruiter of the Guard, Thraben Doomsayer - but I just don't feel the payoff is sufficient.
