This is a pretty strong black aggro 2-drop. 3 power spread over two bodies is nice, and it helps support human / zombie tribal synergies and goes well with aristocrats as well. Black has gotten a lot of good 2-cmc aggro spells like Tourach / Skyclave Shade / Dauthi Voidwalker, but this competes well as just a pure beater with a clean 1B cost.
My gut says no - its just black 2 CMC is a bit too competitive for a card like this.

Probably?doesn't get there in a generic black agro section, but gets interesting if there's a lot of sacrifice or death trigger synergies.
1 free sacrifice fodder a turn in cojunction with 3 total power is strong output for 2 mana card.
I like this one. I have enough sacrifice in black (reccuring nightmare, carrion feeder, rankle, woe strider, fiend artisan) that I think this could be a strong role player for black based aggro. More Zombies are also welcome.
Comparable to Bloodghast? You cannot discard this and get it back, but if you're casting either, you get a recurring 2-power attacker that can be sacrificed over and over. Though this also dies to all removal, while Bloodghast dodges all but exile-based removal. I guess on an empty board this attacks for 3. Seems worse, but Bloodghast is really good, so I think I'll test it.
This is definitely one of the more interesting cards spoiled, but we've just had so many good black 2s. I think I would test this if I was stil running nullpriest of Oblivion so might be worth a whirl if you are in that boat.
