Tireless Provisioner
2G - Creature - Elf Scout
Landfall — Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, create a Food token or a Treasure token.
3/2
We're excited about this creature. While it can't grow or generate true card advantage like Tireless Tracker, the flexibility of having 2 very different options off the landfall is nice. Food helps beat red aggro, and the passive Lotus Cobra-esque ability that can be saved for later is solid for getting to your 6-drop bombs. There are plenty of synergies with stockpiling permanents/artifacts as well.
I don't think Lotus Cobra at 3cmc is very good, but generating artifact tokens can sometimes just be really nice (Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith can really up your artifact count for things like Karnstructs. It's kind of similar to this one) Green might very easily be the color that supports artifact spam themes the least. I don't know if that's good or bad for this one.
I don't even care much for Lotus Cobra anymore; the number of times you are forced to try a hand with 2 lands and a Cobra are kind of tilting, and Tireless Provisioner will do the same but fail to accelerate you beyond 3. It's not often easy to get a lot of fetchlands to support these and make them actually good. I think this compares also to Evolution Sage; it needs to be around specific cards that make it better and isn't a goodstuff card.
I think the main draw of this card for me is that these tokens are really versatile. Yeah, you can do a 3-mana lotus cobra impersonation, but you also provide fodder for Braids, Cabal Minion and Smokestack. I don't think this is an important card by any measure, but I feel like it's just kinda cool and might provide useful support to archetypes we enjoy.
I only got the chance to play this at the prerelease, but I like it a lot. The ability to get treasure early and food late is massive. I got a lot of mana and gained a lot of life. Granted, this was a prerelease where removal is weaker and less abundant, but double landfall triggers are more of a thing in cube. I'm definitely excited to play this in cube (if I can ever get a playgroup back together).
I like Lotus Cobra, but this card really feels like a sizeable upgrade. You always get the advantage if you hit landfall with this guy, where cobra often gives you mana you can't use. Naturally, the two will play super well together.
It's really easy to underestimate a repeatable food source. I'm all in on this guy. Definite play forever kind of card for my cube.

IMO the beauty of Lotus Cobra is that you can go turn 1 Elf -> turn 2 Cobra, drop a land and play something else like a Survival of the Fittest or something. Ramp effects are much better when they're cheaper.
This has been doing really well. As steve_man suggests above, it's not as much of a turbo card as Lotus Cobra, but the value is ridiculous. Exploration and Oracle of Mul Daya are jolly friends with him. The ability to stack treasures can lead to fast bombs, and smooth mana.
Food tokens mean that this can keep you alive on the back foot, and it's easy to be saved by a wayward food. It's also possible to produce an insurmountable life lead out of a board stall.
Like many of the cards that test well for me, however, it does favor a somewhat slower environment.
