Decent uncommon. Not great on its own, but this is a persist combo enabler for those who are into that. It's pretty convenient that all the original persist cards are from Lorwyn, a plane without humans, hehe.
I think I'll replace Rhythm of the Wild with this. I think pumping tokens should be better than granting haste. Being tutorable by Survival of the Fittest/Green Sun's Zenith is nice, too.
Think this guy is terrible for cube, not close to testing for me.
A 3/3 for 3 by itself is way below par, it requires other creatures to do anything (encourages over-extending), and unless it's with token effects, a couple +1/+1 counters don't do much to compete with cards that are being cast for 4+ mana.
I've played a lot with anafenza, spirit kin, and even in mono white, the card is pretty meh.. and this is a mana more expensive in a color worse suited for the effect.
The persist combo is the only thing that makes the card a consideration, and even then I don't think i'd include it if I was heavily supporting the combo.
I like this card quite a bit. It's a good persist combo enabler, and there's certainly a chance that the ability to bolster every future creature is worth it, especially since the baseline as a 3/3 for 3 is an okay baseline if you have good on-curve plays to follow it. I've been surprisingly happy with Good-Fortune Unicorn (which is mainly in to support persist combo) even in non-combo situations. It can be powerful to follow up creatures like these with army-in-a-can type threats.
I've enjoyed Grumgully. I didn't expect to like it as much, but if you end up in a persist deck that is Naya, it's a redundant effect within the guild with Rhythm of the Wild for nontoken creatures, and red has a good number of sacrifice outlets.
I don't have a ton of hard data, though, since I've been pretty draft-light the past several months.
I find the drafter needs to have a good understanding of the persist/ aristocrats/ tokens decks and which colors combinations are strong for which archetype.
I'm actively maintaining a comprehensive article to help explain to new cube players how some complex vintage level cards work in a cube environment. Vintage Cube Cards Explained
Instead of Cryptolith Rite, you could also try Song of Freyalise. I really like that card in a few EDH decks. Quite often I emptied my hand after the second saga phase.

I have Growing Rites of Itlimoc, Xenagos, the Reveler and Gaea's Cradle (potentially adding Cryptolith Rite. He's a pretty strong enabler in the Jund Aristorats, Naya Tokens and Jund/ Naya Persist/ Melira Combo.
