Assuming this is the correct translation-- it's an interesting artifacts-matter card. Affinity only goes so far here, but the tap ability can be proper nuts. I just love casting cards from my graveyard. You don't have to go all that deep before you hit gold. Just an idle Filigree Familiar is excellent value, and the more so if you have a sac outlet.
Obviously, you have to care about artifacts to care about this, but it looks like some weld-tastic fun to me.
Seems very narrow. I don't run any Welder type cards anymore, so I can't imagine this making the cut for me. Maybe if you're REALLY into Mind Slaver locks?
It's an artifact deck card AND it's good in only a subset of artifact decks AND in those decks it's good not great.
Generally when supporting narrow cards, I want the power payoff to be there to justify their narrowness, at first evaluation this doesn't meet that criteria.
I don't think this is a good card, but I am nevertheless intrigued. Needs artifacts I wanna sac, and needs more incidental self-mill. Something I'll find interesting to think about, at the very least.
Does anyone have any experience with her? I've seen her do amazing work in legacy.
Yeah, Emry is incredible in the artifact deck. As I increased the density of trinkets and baubles she became really really powerful.
Especially broken with black lotus.
My initial evaluation underestimated the number of artifact decks that wanted her and drastically underestimated her upside.
No experience with her outside of an artifact heavy powered cube tho
I have added Emry since it was released and I think it's one of the stronger 3 drops in blue even with all the competition. It's in no danger of getting cut anytime soon from my list (size 720).
I've done the math for Teething Wurmlet / Ancient Stirrings and the conclusion is its fairly easy for a green deck to slot these into their 40 and see good results with it.
It's powerful in the artifact deck but about it.
