Any love for this octopus?
I know it competes with other "army in a can" type dudes like Whirler Rogue but it has 5 toughness for those interested in creatures that survive Wildfire and it has synergy with other frequently played illusion cards like Phantasmal Image and Meloku the clouded mirror. It does it a pretty good job of gumming up the board. No evasion is a problem though. It still seems worthy of testing to me, anyone else feel the same?
Where did the other thread go? I like this card alright, but it's a B-lister for sure. It's a cool card to switch up blue's focus towards tokens. Lack of evasion kills its chances most places.
It's mostly a gum-up-the-ground card, which limits its uses significantly. It is a decent blocker, but by no means the ulimate five-drop blocker. That crown goes to Guardian of the Gateless.
That's really weird, because I was positive there was a thread for this already, but I don't see it now.
But no, I don't think this card is very good.
I wanted to follow up to address your confusion here.
Due to a requirement to comply with EU privacy laws, EU users had to opt into not being deleted. The user who created the original Mesemerizing Benthid thread did not opt into this, so his posts and threads were deleted, and took the discussion with it. I can try to restore the discussion sans the original post and merge this one with that if people would like.

Lol, this happened to me as well. Do you know perhaps how I can get my account name back?

I just shot you instructions (log out and back in). If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer them, with the caveat that some stuff is still getting sorted so my answer may be "I'll get back to you".
