I have come to really enjoy the Blood Artist ability, and it's one that benefits from as many iterations as possible. This doesn't trigger off of your opponents creatures, but it does kill them.
The +1/+0 gives this some interesting breadth beyond that. Red has plenty of tokens if you're trying to go wide (which Rakdos doesn't usually do). There are lots of synergies to be found with this card.
I'm a fan of this, and I hope it finds bulk-bin prices.
If this was mono-R or B, I think I'd be interested. As a guild card, I think I'm less so, for even though Olivia has underperformed I think I'd put one of the other cards on deck in (like Grenzo, Dreadbore, or Aristocrat) in before this one.
I do REALLY like how it interacts with another pet card of mine, Goblin Bombardment, though.
If only it omitted "non-token" from the rules text, it would have been a great lynch-pin for a RB Sac theme alongside all the token makers in those colors. Since it does not, I don't think this will make the cut in any modern cube. It's a shame really.
This card is good if you're trying to push an aristocrats theme but I think she comes up short for most cubes. Rakdos is a strong guild and two of its best cards (kologhans command, Daretti) already have the same cc. I also like Vial Smasher a lot so unless something really blows me away I just don't want anymore 3cc rskdos cards. Im going to pass but I think she can find a home in some cubes.
Extremely powerful card in an artistocrats shell, but in a traditional RB agro shell, while I think it's good, I suspect it underperforms the good red 3-drops. Thanks rabblemaster and friends for setting the bar so high!
I'm always hesitant about cards that require other cards on the battlefield to be any good. There's a minor win more quality and they can't steal games with mulligans/bad draws.
However, when you play her with creatures, she represents hasted damage with her anthem and makes blocking with slightly larger creatures a nightmare. Gains value against wraths as well.
I may test because the feel is so... rakdos. But I doubt she'll crack a stacked guild.
Will definitely test given that I support Aristocrats. My cut will likely be Murderous Redcap, which I had in my list as an additional combo-piece to go with Metallic Mimic (which I play for the human subtheme). I'll be sad to see it go, but I'm hoping this pushes Aristocrats to where I want it to be. I expect this to be quite good given that it can hit creatures. My hope is that it lets me cut Zulaport Cutthroat from my list because I don't think I need 4x that effect (this diva, blood artist, cutthroat, goblin sharpshooter [pet card, but has been v-impressive]). Super excited about this card!

Perhaps find a different cut? Murderous Redcap seems like one of the best cube cards to play alongside Judith.
Of those I can only see cutting Aristocrat and Redcap, and if I'm adding Judith, it feels like I should keep Aristocrat. I'll mess around with it. For testing it may be best to cut daretti just so I can play Judith alongside the other BR cards listed here. I don't think Daretti is going to get the axe in the end though. The card is very unique and powerful.

This would compete for Vial Smasher's slot for me and I don't think I can justify that swap. Vial Smasher is just such a damage output machine, not to mention being a 2/3 instead of a 2/2. I think I'd add in Olivia, Mobilized for War before Judith as well. I guess if you're going hard on Aristocrats as an archetype, Judith makes sense, but if you're trying to just support aggressive and/or midrange generically in Rakdos, then there are better options.
We also frequently toss in the Conspiracy package and have seen Vial Smasher do some real work in Worldknit decks, so that might have some influence on my preference.
Jeeessus did this card overperform today. Ran 3 cubes with ~ 10 cards today... and I am about 8 cubes deep with some of the early spoilers..
I can confidently say Judith impressed me the most relative to my expectation of the card.
It was in a semi-aristrocrat deck both times I saw it in action.. but she did so good without any recursive shenanigans, I'm beginning to think she may deserve a slot in normal BR agro sections.
She pressed the advantage hard every time I saw her resolve. The +1/+0 pumped other creatures to levels that either traded with blockers that otherwise had profitable blocks, or do 1 less damage, and then the death trigger would finish off the creature.
Suddenly courser of kruphix felt bad against a zurgo bellstriker, a gravecrawler and a flesh carver. Trading up 2 toughness with creatures is very powerful, as is pinging mana elves with death triggers.
Still a very small sample, but looking forward to testing with her more!
The more we think about, the more we think this card could do some serious work in our unfair section of the cube. On T3, if you curve out and face no opposing creatures, it basicly shock your opponent. And then it snowballs when you cast some more creatures and sacoutlet. The only aspect we don't like about it is that it's pretty bad at attacking itself. A 2/2 for 3 is kinda weak. But on the other hand, Blood Artist and such (while costing only 2) are even worst in that matter and are still great. Might test. But need space...

Thanks for posting your experience. Do you run an Aristocrats package in your cube? I'm trying to necro the old thread to hear from people who support Aristocrats. As I look at my list I think all I'm missing are the payoff cards (and I already run some of those). Judith definitely seems like she'd be great in that kind of deck. If she's playable in aggro as well she definitely deserves to be tested.

Okay, so here is a related question. How many blood artist effects do you run to push aristocrats?
Blood Artist
Zuluport Cutthroat
Falkenrath Noble
Judith
Poison Tip Archer
My cube is 405, and I want to support aristocrats, but I don't want it to be over supported, or take away from other archetypes. I want to support aristocrats.
Also, I really like Judith, aristocrats plus aggro support is really flexible. Not to mention, with Judy on the field, all your creatures trade up, kill any 1/1s who don't block, or help trade up for even bigger creatures by dealing multiple points of damage to something across across the board, makes blocking really hard for your opponent, and late game can be a finisher.
With recurring creatures gutterbones, gravecrawler, she is even more crazy.
I feel like you don't need many, if any, blood artist effects to support this card. I think it's good on its own. I would probably only run Blood Artist if I were to push the theme.
Yeah, I think so. Combine it with other aristocrats cards like murderous redcap, and sac outlets, and you’re there.
Altough at 600 it will be more janky. An 8 man pod will see 360 cards, so you should see at least one a draft, probably 2.
I think ideally you would want one more effect at 600 cards, but at four there will be some drafts that are really good for it, some that are average, and a handful where it is not practical.

I currently play Terminate, Vial Smasher the Fierce and Falkenrath Aristocrat in addition to these and I think Judith can compete here. I will most likely test it over Vial Smasher.

I do, but I run duplicates so the archetype is better in my cube. I'll reply in the thread you necroed. https://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/the-cube-forum/cube-card-and-archetype/620005-aristocrats

i don't have poison tip archer since BG has so many good cards.
although is it(poison archer) good enough if i'm trying to push aristocrats?
any other blood artist effects that are worth in cube? is 4 too much? im running at 600 cube.
