I like this quite a lot. What I dont like is selesnya getting 2 good cards in this set. I like how this interacts with bribery as well

It's reminiscent of Angel in a way, but it doesn't have the modality or flying, and is competing for a guild spot. The tokens having vigilance isn't nothing, but I don't think it's enough. I can't see this unseating any of the existing cards for me (Dryad Militant, Kitchen Finks, the new Knight of Autumn, or Mirari's Wake). It's close, but I think it ends up on the outside, looking in?

The Brooding Saurion text is largely trinket text to me but is a fine add-on.

A slightly better Regal Caracal is all I see, and that hasn't proven to be stellar.

Man, I just can't read today, apparently.

Feel like there's an abundance of both white and green 5 drops, but she is certainly on game plan and on par with what's available in GW.

I've been really loving angel of invention, and trostani strikes me as a close, but slightly worse version. Maybe wouldn't mind another effect like that in my cube? Anthems play well together.
The lifelink of the tokens is not irrelevant, the anti-control magic... kind of is? But I really like the concept and uniqueness of it.

I'll probably give it a test, not expecting it to stick.

I like this but not enough to cube it. Angel of Invention being able to swing for 2 in the air, with lifelink, is a very real asset. So is being able to come in as a 4/3 with lifelink and vigilance. This is definitely closer to Regal Caracal than Angel of Invention, and Regal Caracal already lost out to Cloudgoat Ranger. Basically, this card doesn't produce offense, and for five mana I want a card that produces offense.

The only thing i dont like about it is that i cant tutor it with recruiter of the guard. But otherwise, im a huge fan of this card. Wake hasn't been showing up in decks as often, and i feel that the last clause is more relevant than it appears

My group also adores tokens, so itll fit right in for us

This is better than Caracal, but Caracal is also mono white making it a reasonable late pick for white control strategies as well. Not that Caracal is all that great imo anyway. This is just too little, too late in a guild with a lot of options.

White and green are utterly stacked with amazing 5cc creatures, so I don't have any desire to dedicate a guild slot to fill a role I don't need filling. This would make a much better 4-drop or 6-drop if it's powerlevel was scaled up accordingly ...but I just don't need a 5-drop in either of these colors.

these are the same concerns that I currently have. still a very interesting card and I think that I will at the very least keep an eye on how it plays for others, if not test it myself to see if it maindecks enough over other options.

It's been almost two years since we got Angel of Invention - any time before that card's printing, I would've been slamming in Trostani Discordant but there's just too many good white and green 5s, especially of the army-in-a-can variety. This would absolutely get played, but even at 720, you only really need *so many* of this effect, and this doesn't contribute enough to GW over the other guild slots for me to be in love with it.

Seems like a fun card to bounce with Karakas. I want to try it in my cube.

This is probably better than wake, but I find wake to be a much more interesting card and not much behind in power level.

Since I'm fairly confident this isn't better than voice, finks, or the new 3-drop we just got, I'll be leaving it on the sidelines for now.

I think Mirari's Wake is significantly better than this.

I think it depends on the cube, and this card also probably goes in way more decks, as if you're sort of an average selesnya midrange deck, the double mana might not mean that much.

I'm not a fan of Mirari's Wake so I think I'll give this card a shot. If it's good or better than Cloudgoat, I'll find a permanent space for it.
