Pestermite with a second toughness. Can only target creatures now instead of any permanent though. The ability is now truly modal like Deceiver Exarch now where you choose the mode when its put on the stack. OG Pestermite allowed you to choose (un)tap on resolution.
I've be interested if it's correct to play this + Jaxis, the Troublemaker to add redundancy to the twin package OR if its better to straight up replace one of the creatures.
However, on an off topic note, this is somewhat of a god-send for Twin Decks in Modern / Legacy. I primarily play Legacy these days but this can probably be ported to modern as well:
Pestermite is straight up terrible to unplayable given how easily it can be shot by Orcish Bowmasters. Unfortunately, the only suitable combination is 4 Deceiver + 1 Pestermite / 3 Splinter Twins, which doesn't give you enough offensive power as 3 Pestermite / 3 Deceiver NOR does it have enough consistent to play an all-in combo deck.
I'm actually looking forward to replacing Pestermite with this and going 3/3. Sorry for going off topic, but I'm excited about this card!
