The best Raise Dead variant we've ever seen. Not only is it an instant, which is unprecedented for this type of effect at 1 mana, it can be kicked into a psuedo-Rise Again. Raise Dead basically only sees play in Limited, but you can get some decent mileage out of it in cube pairing it with Evoke creatures and/or Channel effects. Being an instant also opens up the opportunity to hose an opponent's reanimation effect on one of your creatures. The Rise Again mode is, well, it's bad and overcosted. You'd need to hit a creature with a seriously good ETB to make up for the fact that you're spending 5 mana to bring back a creature tapped. But hey, those do exist in cube. I would be pretty satisfied playing this card in a reanimator deck as like a 4th string reanimation effect that I can also use to buy back a Grief or a Harvester of Misery. But that's likely too small of a niche for most cubes.
