Pretty good for a 2-cmc mana dork since it has the best base stats and color fixing potential. Can be really good if your cube has a bunch of allies, but this is pretty solid just by itself. Seems like a decent alternative to Sylvan Caryatid if you're willing to trade hexproof for some power.
It's pretty difficult to justify 2-MV mana dorks in the age of Fanatic of Rhonas, but Great Divide Guide really manages to distinguish himself with his color fixing ability. I can see his ability being particularly relevant with landscapes--I've had numerous moments where I couldn't cast what I wanted because I still had an uncracked landscape. If I were pushing 3+ color decks hard, I would happily add this guy to my cube.
Bodies don’t tend to matter much with mana dorks, but it comes up sometimes. A 2/3 is a really balanced stat line, and this guy doesn’t even need to tap to have the fixing part work. I like this a lot, personally. Even in a 2 color deck, like red green, this guy can be a fair creature to eat 2/2’s on the block or sneak in some early damage to a control deck, all while fixing and ramping. I also love the flavor of an exasperated tour guide going “here it is.”
