A modal Thundermaw Hellkite / Glorybringer variant is pretty cool. Being able to act as early damage / removal for small creatures makes this really flexible. Eating planeswalkers and being able to contest monarch / initiative in a pinch is a nice bonus. Like evoke / impending, warp also helps trigger Up the Beanstalk. I've been of the opinion that the typical 5 mana dragons have become obsolete these days due to more modal high end options like Trumpeting Carnosaur / Overlord of the Boilerbilges being preferable, not to mention how powerful Hellrider variants / Pyrogoyf is these days.

Doesnt kill oko on its own with warp, but likely you played a 2 drop so good chance you are getting oko off the board and you have the 5 mana side for value later. Not a lot of ways to get the better of the shirtless wonder.

There is a joke that every ability is really just another variation of kicker.
Don't forget after combat you can chuck the dragon with Broadside bombardiers, that is a lot of damage.

11 damage for 3 mana + maybe picking off a 1/1 is a steal for 3 mana. Odds are your opponent would be dead before you get a chance to re-cast the creature.

If you read my comment carefully you'll see that I'm not actually disagreeing with that, quite the opposite. I'm just saying that not every sac effect will be worthwhile (e.g. Goblin Bombardment), as you'll be giving up the option of re-casting the creature later.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, warping this in and sacrificing it to Goblin Bombardment isn't the best value proposition unless you know you can finish off your opponent soon. Or are just committed to chucking your mana rocks to Goblin Bombardiers
Although if you're black, being able to recur this with Reanimate / Emperor of Bones / Recurring Nightmare / etc is a very realistic scenario alternative to re-casting it. I really like how this dragon gives you a lot of flexibility while providing support to a lot of different cards (beans / reanimate / 4 powers matters / etc).
I agree with the sentiment that the best chance for 5-6 MV creatures to break into cube nowadays is to come with an alternate casting cost. Flame Lashing your opponent and "drawing" a 5 MV dragon is decent, but the real selling point is being able to cleanly knock out any 3-MV walker not named Oko. And as others have already stated, it works great with Bombardiers and Beanstalk. I'm running both, so this is an easy include.
I've been liking Nova Hellkite a lot and is by far the best 5 mana dragon in my experience. The modality of being able to attack for 4 and pick off an X/1 while "drawing" into itself later in the game means it can do a lot more damage in the same time when Glorybringer / Thundermaw Hellkite first attacks. This is especially true in higher powered cubes where stealing monarch / initiative early can swing the game around and there's more dangerous X/1s lying around like Ragavan / Ocelot Pride / Orcish Bowmasters.
We've been getting a lot of reps in with Nova Hellkite in my Old Fashioned Cube. The cube only allows sets that were legal in standard, so much less power creep with no Modern Horizons / Commander cards, not to mention no monarch / initiative. And even there it's been out performing your typical Glorybringer variant.
