Toxic 1 (Players dealt combat damage by this creature also get a poison counter.)
Whenever Bloated Contaminator deals combat damage to a player, proliferate. (Choose any number of permanents and/or players, then give each another counter of each kind already there.)
4/4
4MV 4/4 trample for only G with upsides is awesome. I think this card could be strong enough to include besides the green aggro section in large cubes. Thoughts?
I'm honestly not sure about this card. Toxic has no real meaning in a cube as Sandino said, but Proliferate does and I'm not sure how to evaluate combat damage proliferate on a beater. The fact that it has evasion makes it actually playable and the fact that it is 2G makes it much better in a cube than say Steel-Leaf Champion. I could easily see going turn 1 dork in to turn 2 this on the play just killing some people. So overall I'd say probably going in to larger cubes with no problem and maybe getting in to the borderline numbers depending on actual powerlevel.
The design strikes me as a little boring, but a 4/4 trample for 2G is insane. If you support green aggro I think this is likely to be a reasonable include. I'm pretty sure at least 15% of my cube is made of cards that play with proliferation too, so for those not sold by the body I recommend they take a look at their lists to get a sense of what this card can do.
I think this is the best pure green 3-cmc stat monster at green, generally outclassing things like Steal-Leaf Champion / Lovestruck Beast, both which had pretty bad downsides (GGG mana cost and having to control a 1/1 creature).
This card is pretty respectable as a stat monster / proliferate enabler for +1/+1 counters matters, but I'm currently not in the market for this.
Wow, I hate it. You couldn't pay me to play this card. Gross creature creep. I wish the community would react against cards like this so they would stop printing them.
I feel like we skipped a step. A 4/4 trampler for 2G is nuts and I’d take a card like that for my cube to push green aggro. But here we have something with not just one, but two extra abilities? I’m really conflicted about this one.
Personally, I don’t particularly like including cards with extraneous text, so I may end up passing on this.

Personally I don't think this card is nuts at all, at least within the context of other 3-cmc spells / creatures. This is relatively tame compared to other threats that either are more inherently aggressive and / or can guarantee value and offer more synergies.
Sure 4/4 for 2G is good rate, but it's not like we haven't seen 4/4's (or better) for 3 CMC before.
I think the combination of trample and proliferate on damage has some potential. I always liked proliferate as a mechanic, but there was never any good cards with it before. I will probably give this one a spin.
Only reason I’d consider this card is if I both had G Agro AND supported +1/+1 counters.
I personally welcome power creep of vanilla stat creatures. That’s the only way they will be able to compete in a world of mulldrifters , efficient removal and planeswalkers (snowball value engines).
Obviously GGG is a completely different animal, but Old-Growth Troll was a complete whiff in my cube and it was a 4/4 trample for 3 with multiple upsides.
It's kind of crazy that this is where we are, but a 2G 4/4 trample would be an average-at-best cube card nowadays.
My experience is 3 CMC creatures absolutely needs to snow-ball or have something like haste to contest early planeswalkers.
I personally think the best card for this slot is Endurance, I haven't cubed with it for a while I've found that Endurance is better suited for control shells and those decks are frequently splashing green. If Endurance was single green, it would likely be the best 3 CMC.

I’m always happy to see proliferate return. Bloated Contaminator has stats and an ability that I would include for +1/+1 counter and planeswalker synergy reasons, even if it didn’t have toxic 1. While Poison is optimized when you’re all in on it, I like havingafewaltwincons floating around the cube, so having just one poison card and a bunchofwaystoproliferate could provide a challenging achievement for experienced players to unlock.

Toxic looks mostly like flavor text for Cube so I think it will make the cube for unpowered cubes and/or those with a counters theme.
