Just noticed nobody made a thread for this card. This is essentially a fixed Skulllclamp attached to a Bonesplitter in black, or a mini Heirloom Blade. Works particularly well with something like Bitterblossom. Even without black, it's the same costs as Jitte, which ain't too bad.
Bonesplitter is 1 to cast one to equip, making is much easier to squeeze into an aggro deck. This is, at best, 2 and 1, and in mono-R or boros it's 2 and 2. I think this is probably too expensive to make it, but I could be proven wrong.
I don't quite know what to think of this card. Seems really interesting but is it good enough for my 360?
Separately, do I make it a black card or colorless? Feels like it needs to be black but this one is close (not trying to threadjack about this topic but one sentence replies on it would be welcome).

That’s a very on-topic question, and in my own opinion it wouldn’t make 360. I’m having a hard time making cuts for it at 540. As for what section to put it, my thought is that a nonblack deck wouldn’t typically draft this, so it’s going to be a black card for functionality. I look at it as a black card with the fail safe of being able to use colorless for an additional cost, like if you’re B/x and have better use for your black mana in a pinch, but have extra red or whatever. I also am a firm believer in having some amount of test/flex slots (say 10) that you can test/run cards with without cutting from a color to do so.

Slotted it in the black section. We enjoy testing new cards even if they end up a bit shirt. Will post feedback after it hopefully sees some play!

In a black deck, this is 2 to cast and 1 to equip, which is on par with Grafted Wargear in terms of pressure.

Yeah you have to slot this in black I think. A version of this card with only the colorless costs would not make it in most small/medium cubes.

Can you explain? I have no experience with this card yet - is it overperforming?
