I like this a lot for UWx blink decks or even midrange decks. I'm really thinking to replace March of Otherworldly Light for this one as a new NEO card in the white slot.
I think getting the flicker mode is probably worth losing the ability to hit PW's and enchantments? In any event I'll test over an o-ring variant (probably portable hole).
I support the blink sub-archetype so I will be swapping out Banishing Light for this. Uncounterable flicker effect at instant speed is worth not being able to hit enchantments and planeswalkers.
I'm a little worried about not being able to hit enchantments or planeswalkers, but I like the idea of diversifying effects slightly, especially since so much of white's noncreature suite is removal. I'll also probably swap out Banishing Light.
Very cool. It even can hit the opponents cards at instant speed, which could be relevant in corner case scenarios.
I like it more than Oring on first appraisal
I like the gameplay here more than Light, but you do end up hitting enchantments and PWs a real chunk of the time. I would love to have one more card type here for 1WW upfront, but alas

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
I'm currently moving back up to 540 with a bit more of an experimental list, and will try this out since I have a white slot to spare. While Ephemerate is the better pure blink card, I do like the flexibility of this a lot more for my environment since it can still do a decent Oblivion Ring impression when needed. Also unlike Ephemerate, the blink effect can be used on your opponent's stuff, so this can be used as a combat trick like taking away a creature's equipment temporarily or just simply nuking a creature token. I also like how this is a cheap blink effect at instant speed, which is pretty rare outside of Restoration Angel / Parallax Wave activations (if you want to count that).
I've been liking Touch the Spirit Realm a good amount. I experimented with swapping out Oblivion Ring / Banishing Light to see if I would them or not since we have a lot of versatile removal now that costs less (Prismatic Ending / Portable Hole / Fateful Absence / etc), and I can't say that I missed them at all. The advent of initiative cards have really pushed sub-themes like blink / Birthing Pod. Also, I totally forgot that this can hit artifacts this entire time and just remembered now as I was writing this, lol.
This will lead to interesting decisions. Do you remove their best creature, or hold up flicker for yours?
