T: Add U to your mana pool.
Channel - 3U, discard this card: Return target artifact, creature, enchantment or planeswalker to its owner hand. This ability costs 1 less to activate for each legendary creature you control.
Love the Star Destroyer art. Blue remains incredibly tight, however. It's also less likely to make use of the cost reduction effect as well.
For me that is lower than others. Additionally I do not have slot for this in my 720 since a think that is worse than others Blue utility lands as Shelldock Isle, Hall of Storm Giants and Faerie Conclave.
I added the neo legendary land cycle to my cube (except Sokenzan) for testing. Out of those lands, Otawara has over-performed my expectations the most.
Could be variance, but there's been a surprising amount of times where bouncing a permanent that can't be prevented or countered in anyway is a really nice option to have if you have any sort of tempo advantage. It's come up way more than I expected.
It and boseiju are much better than any of the other cards in the cycle imo.
Blue is stacked with utility lands, but I highly recommend giving it a try if you are comfortable providing the real estate.
I rank it higher than any of the mono U man lands or the blue MDFC land by a good clip.
I added one for my affinity sideboard in legacy and I've noticed that 50% of the time its been a strong extra land/ blue source vs wasteland decks, combo decks etc. and 50% of the time, its a low opportunity cost answer to an Ensnaring Bridge/ Marit Liege/ Kaldra Complete/ Griselbrand/ Uro etc.

I'm actively maintaining a comprehensive article to help explain to new cube players how some complex vintage level cards work in a cube environment. Vintage Cube Cards Explained

I tested all 5 of them, and Otawara also exceeded my expectations the most. The only one that I like more than Otawara is Boseiju (big surprise). The cycle is overall great due to how useful they are, it's just a matter of having a slot for them. I started viewing a lot of these lands + the mythic MDFCs as nice to have "luxury lands" that help smooth out gameplay.
Otawara is probably my second favorite blue land overall after Tolarian Academy, and is by far the best generic goodstuff one, IMO. Being an untapped blue land that can bounce things is extremely. This being conveniently worded to be able bounce a manland has saved me a good amount of times.

Anyways, this land cycle for me is:
Boseiju (G) >> Takenuma (B) >= Sokenzan (R) > Eiganjo (W) >> Otawara (U)
