There were never any threads for these cards, but I see them as silver-bordered and fair game (especially now that most of them are affordable). I'm planning to try a few more of these. This is the only one I've added, though Frontier Explorer was on my list.
This guy is better than I thought he would be as one of the many shock variants. He's not bombtastic or anything, but being a creature means you can blink him, bounce him, reanimate him, use him as a sacrifice, or fetch him with a recruiter. Paying for the dork is fine, and it's often worth it.
This is mid-tier 1-mana burn to be sure: behind the Burst Lightnings of the world, but shoulder-to-shoulder with good cards like Flame Slash. Pretending to be a creature opens up a lot of fun synergies.
