Ward {2} (Whenever this creature becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter it unless that player pays {2}.)
If one or more tokens would be created under your control, twice that many of those tokens are created instead.

Nowadays I have runned several tokens generators in cube, where this card can be shine a lot on some decks. I dunno if it breaks my simic section, Thoughts?
This looks fun, but I don't think that I have enough token makers to utilize this. I'm a huge fan of ward as a keyword, though, and hope to see it more.
Nevertheless, it's a powerful card that serves as a signpost for a tokens archetype. Unfortunately, it's pretty unplayable in a deck without tokens, so it's a "commit to me" kind of card. I'm playing Growing Ranks in my big cube, so I can't just dismiss this.
Very cool and eminently cubeable effect. Could be used to give redundancy to Doublin Seasons type archetypes for cubes that want to run something like that.
Indeed hard to find room for with simic being chock full of bombs.
