I like that is is uncommon and has reminder text. Cube is almost one named mechanic per card now.

Wow, this is great! Can't wait to get this one into the cube. It's always nice when there's an easy cut for something - this will replace Skymarcher Aspirant for us!

FANTASTIC! Think it's finally time to cut student of warfare. Just too punishing when it got killed in response to the 2nd level up.

Agree with all that's been said. Cut is between Skymarcher Aspirant or Mardu Woe-Reaper. Think aspirant will be the cut as Woe Reaper has more relevant creature types and the incidental graveyard hate is mildly more impactful than the rare game where aspirant flies.

360 staple, best card in the set so far.

Usher of the Fallen looks fantastic! Go go token theme!

I took a stab at making a cube power ranking for 2/1s for W with upside. I think Usher of the Fallen is #2 after Kytheon. (This list could change depending on the specific environment; for instance if your cube has heavy Dragon and Warrior themes, maybe Dragon Hunter is #1).

I think it's worse than Dantless bodyguard since the bodyguard can be really impactful in some white midrange decks where protecting a key creature can have a huge impact on the game. even in some white wheenie shells, protecting a T3 Brimaz, king of oreskos for example can be a big deal. I think I will be cutting Soldier of the Pantheon since I think it is a pretty low impact card in that the average deck in my cube probably runs 2 multicolor cards and the protection clause very rarely shows up. I think there are more games where the game stalls out at 2-3 life left and getting Aspirant to fly is more impactful than the random protection clause.

A great card. I think the ability will be rarely used in practice, but it doesn't matter; it's still about the 3rd-4th best Savannah Lions variant.

Like this one a lot. I'd really like to see them go much deeper on White Weenie aggro cards. A common complaint about my cube (in White) is that it's too generic, midrangey and 'lacks focus' Reading between the lines, I think they mean weenie/more 1-drops needed for White. Having drafted it as many times as I have, i would tend to agree.

Cards like this help me fix that problem. I'd like to see a lot more!!!

I think I might cut champion of the parish. I have argued it for long time but white 1 is getting super tough. Outside lions, I have mom and still haven't fit giver of runes in. Thraben inspector is always trying to get in depending on artifact themes and giant killer is going for another spin with me.

Spoiled for choices.

Well it's easily the best card in the set across peasant, budget, and really everything. But I'm still not excited for it whatsoever. It's just another great Savannah Lions variant after all.

This is how I feel. It's the only card in the set I plan to add, but it's just not a high priority. It's not like white weenie will improve so drastically or it enables a whole new archetype or anything.
