This one got on my radar b/c it is Reserved List but it seems quite powerful and gamechanging for any sort of red-based aggro deck. I mean...if we run stuff like Moat.. Also virtually elminates board-stalls and also seems to create some interesting play with any Lure, Act of Treason/Ray of Command, or Goad effects.
Thinking about spicing things up.. Anyone ever tried this card out?
Stopping your curve to jam this instead of a threat seems anticlimactic for aggro, even if it could make for interesting gameplay. There's a long list of benefits you can get from Bow of Nylea that this card doesn't give you, in addition to the drawbacks it throws on the table. How much do you like Bow of Nylea in green aggro?
Invasion Plans might be better for the same idea? Assign all of your opponents creatures to block one of yours each turn. Oh, look, Mogg Maniac is being ganged up on, oh no.

Right...do see your point. I think I spoke imprecisely..let me try again. What I mean is I could see this thing give midrange/creature heavy decks (really of any color) more controllish angle. I think that is cool? Maybe not? I don't know. It seems like something wild to try out in a any go-wide deck. Reminds me of Opposition but in red. Maybe at that point, it's win-more. (Opposition sure doesn't feel that way.) Or if you don't go wide it just makes combat overall a bit more important--that usually makes for an interesting night.
I also just threw a Grenzo, Havoc Raiser in my cube and the idea of Goad with this thing just seems absolutely hilarious to me. This idea might be coloring my evaluations here a tad sure.
Feels like this has the combat implications of Humility ...without the valuable defense it provides. If I was looking to play an effect that would get insane with tokens that's intended to be used on defense, I don't think Heat Stroke is that card.
