Nice riff on Goblin Cratermaker. Not as disruptive since it can't hit mana rocks / key artifacts, but it's more aggressive with prowess, can target planeswalkers, and potentially hit bigger non-colorless creatures if you pump its power via prowess / equipment / etc. Seems like a strong contender in the 2-cmc red creature slot.
I think a lot of cubes are running Dismissive Pyromancer which i think this is quite a bit better. They both overlap in ability to remove large creatures, but this can also take out planeswalkers which can be really important. I can see a lot of lines of play where you have a 1 drop, this, and then your opponent plays a 3 or 4 mana walker and creates a token to stabilize. Being able to bolt to face to pump this guy so he can make the token chump, and then sacrifice him end of turn to remove the walker seems like a pretty decent line of play and will really help aggro decks not fall behind when a PW shows up.
in addition, he will make any general multi creature attack pretty hard to do math with since there will be times where you can pump him multiple times and then sac him to take out a larger creature. Overall, it's a really cool design.
I like this card well enough. I don't think it's a top-tier red 2-drop, but I think it's competitive enough to tangle with the mid/bottom-tier 2cc creatures pretty favorably. Maybe it'll play better than it looks to me at first glance.
I agree card seems fine, but it isn't crazy. If the sac effect was 0 mana or if it had first strike. Probably fine like the dissmissive guy or the other prowess 2 drops. I might try it because after Young Pyromancer and Keri Zev I think all the rest are replaceable.
The example provided by @allred1234 makes me feel pretty powerful. After the 2 mana you’ve spent, it can kill many planeswalkers with just 1 red mana and the prowess of the spells you were already going to play that turn. It makes burn feel more face-able, kind of like Sword of Sinew and Steel answering the “walker vs. face” dilemma. Definitely testing it in 450, but this will probably be the last 2-drop red creature I will add that doesn’t have haste.

Offensively it should do a good abbot of Keral keep impression. You sacrifice the card advantage for extra utility and an extra point of toughness.
In a slower cube it strikes me as noteably worse than abbot. In a faster cube it’s likely on par with it.
